    • PURPOSE:To prevent the destruction and rupture due to the abnormal increase of the pressure of working fluid by installing a relief valve for releasing the pressure of the working fluid only in the case when the pressure in an oil chamber exceeds an upper limit value, at a proper position for the communication to the oil chamber. CONSTITUTION:When the internal pressure of a suspension device 1 abnormally rises in case of excessive loading, collision, or fire, the pressure in an oil chamber 1 exceeds an upper limit value, and the abnormal pressure is transmitted into an oil passage 47 in a moment. Then, the ball 43 of a relief valve 40 shifts in the valve opening direction against the siliency of a coil spring 44, and the oil in the oil chamber 11 flows into a valve chamber 42 through the oil passage 47, and is discharged to a drain pipe 18 side through a passage 49. Therefore, the danger such as destruction and rupture in the case when the pressure abnormally rises can be prevented beforehand. When the pressure in the oil chamber 11 lowers below a prescribed value, the ball 43 is pressed onto a valve seat 42 by the spring force of the coil spring 44, and the relief valve 40 is closed automatically.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the ground contactness of a wheel on a bad road by providing an engagement section and an engaged section that are engaged so as to freely rotate in the axial direction and not so as to rotate mutually in the second position where the engaged section is moved in the reverse direction. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer 1 is provided with a twisting section 2 and arm sections 3 and 4 positioned on both ends of this twisting section 2. The end 6 of the twisting section can freely be rotated for a gap 8 fixed to the base 8 of an arm section 5 and can relatively be moved in the axial direction. In addition, an engagement section 15 is provided at the end 6 and an engaged 16 is provided at the base 5. In addition, in the first position where the engaged section 16 relatively moves to the left direction, both the sections are engaged so as to freely rotate and in the second position where it moves in the reverse direction they are engaged not so as to rotate mutually. As a result, a stabilizer effect can be controlled according to the road surface conditions and the running conditions.
