    • PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of a temperature sensor and the occurrence of a trouble and to enable ensurance of smooth operation for a long period by a method wherein a temperature sensor is mounted to the portion, exposed from a steam generating drum body, of a heat pipe, and a water feed valve is opened at a detecting temperature. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 40 is mounted in a position belonging neither a steam generating drum body 10 nor a combustion chamber 20 but to the portion of a heat pipe 30 exposed from the steam generating drum body 10. A burner 21 starts combustion in a state in that the generating drum body 10 is sufficiently filled with water, and when a level in the steam generating drum body 10 is lowered due to the generation of steam, the temperature of the heat pipe 30 in the steam generating drum body 10 is increased by a value equivalent to the decrease of the level. In this case, a similar situation described above occurs to a temperature sensor 40 part, and when a detecting temperature from the temperature sensor 40 exceeds a specified value, it is judged that a level in the steam generating drum body 10 is lowered to a value lower than a specified value, and a water feed valve 13 is opened. In this case, water is supplied through a water feed pipe 11 to the steam generating drum body 10. When the heat pipe 30 is cooled by the supply water, the temperature sensor 40 detects lowering of the temperature of the heat pipe 30 to close the water feed valve 13.

CONSTITUTION: When temperature detected by a temperature sensor 7 is not lowered even after a predetermined time is elapsed after a uniform pressure opening/closing valve 11 is not opened, it is judged that no water is put in a water supply tank 4 to once interrupt the uniform pressure opening/closing valve 11 with a controller 14, and further to interrupt a fuel opening/closing valve 18 and hence interrupt heating. Natural cooling for the water supply tank 4 is smoothly achieved, and when water is sucked and replenished from a water replenish tank 12 into the water supply tank 4 which becomes to a pressure reduction state, water is also supplied from the water supply tank 4 to a steam producing can 1. Detected temperature by the temperature sensor 7 is lowered owing to the water supply. The closed fuel opening/closing valve 18 is again opened through the controller 14 when the detected temperature of the temperature sensor 7 becomes a predetermined temperature or lower than opening temperature of the uniform pressure opening/closing valve 11 after interruption of heating, and starts re-heating.

    • PURPOSE: To positively replenish water to a water-supply tank and to smooth the continuous operation of a device by retaining a uniform pressure switching valve at a closed state for a fixed amount of time after the uniform pressure switching valve is closed from the open state regardless of temperature detection by a temperature sensor and reducing pressure in the water-supply tank. CONSTITUTION: When a uniform pressure switching valve 11 is opened, water in a water-supply tank 4 flows into a can body 1, and a fixed amount of time passes, the uniform pressure switching valve 11 is closed and a proportional control valve 3 resumes proportional control. Then, when the uniform pressure switching valve 1 is closed, a fixed amount of time is counted by a timer being built into a controller 14 and at the same time the uniform pressure switching valve 11 is retained to be closed by the controller 14 regardless of a temperature being detected by a temperature sensor 7 during that period. More specifically, temperature information of the temperature sensor 7 is canceled. The fixed amount of time for retaining the uniform pressure switching valve 11 is determined by measuring time required for reducing the pressure in the water-supply tank 4 and fully supplying water in a water replenishment tank 12 into the water-supply tank 4 in advance.
