    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the connecting strength mutually between the upper and the lower parts bounded by a spouting part and to prevent the fall-out of a nozzle bottom part in a casting part by arranging a reinforcing plate so as to connect the bottom surface inside the nozzle with inner surface thereof opposed to the molten metal spouting hole side. SOLUTION: The flat nozzle 10 is constituted of wide side walls 1, narrow side walls 11 and bottom plate 4 and slitting spouting holes 3 of three positions at the lower one side in the wide side walls 1 (six positions at the faced both sides), a the reinforcing plates 2 are arranged at the inside between the spouting holes 3. The reinforcing plate 2 has the triangular cross sectional surface and integrally connected with the wide side walls 1 faced to the bottom plate 4 of the nozzle 10 and connected with the wide side walls 1 at the higher position than the spouting holes 3. Then, the thickness of the reinforcing plate can be within interval between the spouting holes 3. Since the nozzle 10 is ordinarily formed with CIP, etc., reinforcing plates 2 are integrally formed at the same time with the CIP formation or separately formed and integrated before or after burning.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent jerking up of tuyeres by forming joints to suppress movement of tuyere refractory blocks by a fluctuation in an in-furnace temp. CONSTITUTION:The construction of the tuyeres is composed of the divided right and left blocks 5, 6 forming the longitudinal joint 4 so as to bisect the tuyere blocks 1 of the refractories in a perpendicular direction. Further, the construction described above may be composed of the tuyere blocks forming the longitudinal joint and transverse joint so as to bisect the blocks respectively in a perpendicular direction and horizontal direction by shifting the blocks at need prescribed distance in the same rotating direction from the central line of the tuyere or forming the longitudinal joint so as to bisect the blocks in the perpendicular direction and forming the transverse joint so as to bisect the blocks in the horizontal direction by shifting the blocks by the prescribed distance in the same rotating direction from the central line of the tuyere. The construction which is provided with the tuyere blocks forming the transverse joint so as to bisect the blocks in the horizontal direction by shifting the blocks by the prescribed distance from the center line of the tuyere and positions the adjacent tuyere blocks so as to stagger from each other is equally possible.
