      SOLUTION: The foldable portable radio equipment 100 including a first case 11 and a second case 12 comprises a first circuit board 101 disposed in the first case 11, a second circuit board 102 disposed in the second case 12, a connecting part 13 which mechanically connects the first case 11 and the second case 12 and which can be bent, a flexible connecting element 103 for electrically connecting the first circuit board 101 and the second circuit board 102, a radio circuit part 106 provided to the second circuit board 102, an antenna element 104 connected with the radio circuit part 106 via a feeding line 105, and a switching part 109 for selectively switching connection/non-connection of the first circuit board 101 and the antenna element 104 in accordance with the opened/closed state of the folder type portable radio equipment 100. The antenna element 104 and the feeding line 105 are disposed at positions approximately along the connecting part 103.

      SOLUTION: In a configuration of the foldable mobile wireless unit including: the first case 11 provided with a first circuit board 101; and the second case 12 provided with a second circuit board wherein the first and second cases 11, 12 are connected by a hinge part 13 for configuring the bendable planar connection member, and a connection element 103 for connecting the first and second circuit boards 101, 102, an antenna element 104, and a feeder 105 for connecting the antenna element 104 and a wireless circuit part 106 are arranged at a position almost along the hinge part 13 in a way that they are not overlapped with the first and second circuit boards 101, 102 so that the antenna element 104 is arranged between the two circuit boards in an opening state of the cases and located at a position deviated outward from the end of the two circuit boards in a closing state.

An antenna element 107, a circuit board 105, and a feed system for connecting the first conductor plate 102 and the circuit board are provided within the lower housing 104. In addition, the feed system comprises a detector 109 for detecting the open or closed condition of the upper housing 101 and the lower housing 104, and a first switching 110 for switching between whether the first conductor plate 102 and the second conductor plate 103 are electrically opened or short-circuited, according to the detection result of the detecting 109.
