    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot array antenna capable of reducing the SAR, and a wireless communication terminal.
      SOLUTION: The slot array antenna is provided with a ground plate 101 to which a slot 102 having an electric length L is formed, a feeder 103 which feeds power to the slot 102 arranged to the center of the slot 102, a reflection conductor 104 which faces the ground plate 101 and has a parasitic slot 105, and short-circuiting parts 106-1, 106-2 arranged to the parasitic slot 105. The short-circuiting part 106-1 is arranged between the position corresponding to the feeder 103 of the parasitic slot 105 and one end of the parasitic slot 105. The short-circuiting part 106-2 is arranged between the position corresponding to the feeding point 103 of the parasitic slot 105 and the other end of the parasitic slot 105.

      SOLUTION: The portable wireless device is equipped with a first antenna 11 built in an upper housing 1, a second antenna 21 built in a lower housing 2, an electric power distributing/combining device 24, a first electric supply line 13 having a predetermined electric line length between the first antenna 11 and the electric power distributing/combining device 24, and a second electric supply line 23 having the predetermined electric line length between the second antenna 21 and the electric power distributing/combining device 24. Further, the first and the second antennae 11, 21 comprise an inverted F-shaped antenna arranged on a base plate of the upper and the lower housings 1, 2 and a half-wave length element connected to an extremity of the inverted F-shaped antenna. The first and the second antennae 11, 21 are arranged in a parallel manner.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce transmission lossed based on impedance mismatching by inserting a matching circuit comprising passive elements of no loss between an photoelectric converting section and a preamplifier section to combine both. CONSTITUTION:A reactive component in addition to a resistive component exists in a photoelectric converting section because of the inductive component of wire and a junction capacitance of a photodetector and in a preamplifier section because of a floating capacitance of the circuit, inductive component of wiring and an input impedance of an amplifier. Reactance compensating circuits 6, 8 eliminate the reactive component. Further, an impedance converter 7 takes matching by stepping up or down resistive components with a difference value. Thus, the loss is reduced in the operating band and it is possible to supply a reception signal to a load efficiently.

    • PURPOSE:To quicken a lock speed by selecting a time constant of a low pass filter at the unlock state so as to be minimized for the lock time and changing over the said time constant at the lock state so as to minimize an FM noise. CONSTITUTION:When a PLL loop is in the unlock state, a discriminating circuit 6 detects the state and controls changeover switches 7, 8 so as to connect a low pass filter 4 between a phase comparator 1 and a VCO2. The low pass filter 4 consists of a lag/lead filter where the time constant is selected so as to attain the unity of the damping coefficient, and even if the FM noise is increased, the lockup time is decreased. When the PLL loop transits to the lock state, the discriminating circuit 6 detects it, the changeover switches 7, 8 connect a low pass filter 5 having a damping coefficient of nearly 0.3 so as to decrease the FM noise and improve the performance. Thus, the lockup time is reduced without deteriorating the performance.
