    • PURPOSE:To enable using for parts for which mixing of foreign matters to inside of the tube is objectionable by manufacturing an aluminium alloy electric welded tube inner circumferential face of which is clad with brazing filler metal and heating to specified temperature in inert gaseous atmosphere and then cooling. CONSTITUTION:One side of aluminium alloy parent metal 3 is clad with brazing filler metal, for instance consisting of Al-Si group alloy, having thickness of several %-ten odd % of the parent metal 3. This material is made to an electric welded tube by usual method. Inner burrs 1 and spatters 2 remain at the inside face of the electric welded tube as foreign matters. This electric welded tube is then heated to above melting point of the brazing filler metal 4 in vacuum or inert gaseous atmosphere and cooled. The inner burrs 1 and spatters 2 which are possible to come off are welded metallurgically to inner face of the tube by the brazing filler metal 4. By this way, range of application of the electric welded tube can be enlarged.

    • PURPOSE:To improve water wettability and corrosion resistance by providing an oxide film formed by an anodization method on the surface of a titled member and packing a Zn-Si compd. in the pores of the film. CONSTITUTION:Al or Al alloy member as an anode is electrolyzed in an aq. soln. of an oxalic acid, chromic acid, sulfuric acid, etc. to form an oxide film on the surface thereon. Pores having 100-500Angstrom diameter are numerously formed in the film. The member is then dipped in an aq. 5-10% sodium silicate soln. added with 1-5% pulverous powder of metallic zinc or zinc oxide powder to penetrate said metals in the pores of the oxide film. When the member is pulled up and is heated, a Zn-Si compd. is packed in the pores. The member is dipped, if necessary, in a chemical conversion liquid contg. chromate or dichromate to adsorb and fix the chromate or dichromate on the Zn-Si compd.
