    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for refining nanocarbon material by which the nanocarbon material can be refined to high purity in a state free from aggregation and the nanocarbon material can be produced industrially, and to provide nanocarbon material obtained by the same.
      SOLUTION: A nanocarbon material product 12 containing the nanocarbon material to be refined is placed in a refining vessel 11, then a halogen gas 13 is allowed to flow into the vessel from the outside to perform a halogenation treatment, and the nanocarbon material is refined by vaporizing or sublimating halogenated substances by a heating part 14 provided at the outer periphery of the refining vessel 11.
