    • PURPOSE:To obtain angle reference data with high accuracy by providing the titled device with an analog/digital converter or the like to which signals from a rotation detector detecting the rotating speed of an engine and a pressure gauge detecting the inner pressure of a cylinder of the engine are inputted. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder inner pressure inputting device is provided with an engine rotating system 1, a cylinder 2, the rotation detector 3, a pressure gauge 4, the A/D converter 5, etc. An operator 6 calculates the time interval corresponding to the angle of rotation from a signal of the rotation detector 3 and the signal of the rotation detector 3 and a signal from the cylinder inner pressure gauge 4 are inputted to the operator 6 through the A/D converter 5. In said constitution, the angle reference data with high accuracy can be obtained by inputting the rotation reference signal and the cylinder inner pressure simultaneously as data and then rearranging these data as data having 1 deg. intervals even if the rotating speed is changed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank leak inspection method and an apparatus for inspecting large-capacity tanks for leaks capable of solving problems that work has required a long period and that accurate detection has been difficult in conventional leak inspection in which the detection is performed by applying a reagent reactive to a gas to be detected and visually observing discoloration thereof. SOLUTION: The tank leak inspection method comprises: a process for sealing the gas to be detected in a heat insulating layer; a process for applying the reagent to a surface to be inspected; a process for photographing the surface to be inspected as traveling; a process for outputting extraction information in which the reagent is discolored from a photographed image; a process for determining the presence or absence of a leak from discoloration in the reagent; and a process for issuing an alarm on the result of determination and recording it. By this, it is possible to mechanically perform leak inspection by the travel of a running gear, perform the inspection even on a long surface to be inspected in a short inspection time, reduce both inspection costs and fatigue in workmen, perform the inspection with steady inspection sensitivity, and reliably perform the inspection on a leak location with heightened accuracy.     • PURPOSE:To diagnose abnormality reliably and inexpensively by comparing pressure in a cylinder corresponding to a decided crank angle with the reference value previously set at the same crank angle so as to compute existence of abnormality. CONSTITUTION:A crank angle measuring sensor 13 detects crank angle and sends the crank angle pulse 1 to a signal processing part 4. A cylinder inner pressure sensor 12 detects cylinder 14 inner pressure and sends the measured value 3 of cylinder inner pressure is previously set in the signal processing part 4. The measured value 2 of cylinder inner pressure is compared with the reference value 3 of cylinder inner pressure synchronizingly with the crank angle pulse 1 in the signal processing part 4, and if the difference is larger than an allowable pressure variation value, an abnormality signal is output. This abnormality diagnosis can be performed at high speed and in the whole cycle so as to be highly reliable in diagnosis, and needs no help of fieldwork operators so as to be performed, inexpensively.
