摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone dust collector for suppressing the discharge of an offensive smell while enhancing dust collection efficiency by preventing the whirling-up of dust in a dust collection chamber and having good attachability and detachability of the dust collection chamber and good dust visibility. SOLUTION: This cyclone dust collector is equipped with an almost cylindrical revolution chamber 1 for forming a revolving stream, a dust discharge port 7 provided to the peripheral wall surface of the revolution chamber 1 by boring a part of the peripheral wall surface and the dust collection chamber 8 attached to the outer wall surface of the revolution chamber 1 so as to cover the dust discharge port 7. The revolution chamber 1 is arranged so that the center axis of the cylindrical shape of the revolution chamber 1 is arranged in an almost horizontal direction and the dust collection chamber 8 is formed so that the upper wall surface 8a thereof does not coincide with the tangential direction of the revolution chamber 1 passing at least the upstream opening edge 7a of the dust discharge port 7. A threshold correction means 7 corrects a threshold for detecting the volume of dust of a dust collection part and a threshold for detecting a closed state in an air path based on the power source voltage. An output of the current sensor 4a is compared with the threshold for detecting the volume of dust and the threshold for detecting the closed state in the air path to display the volume of dust of the dust collection part and the closed sate in the air path on a display part 8 based on the results of the comparison.

Runner wheels 20a-20d are provided at the four corners of the body 11, and the shaft 21 of each wheel is set in parallel with the rotary brush 14 and mounted on the body 11 through a bearing 22 rotatably in the regular and reverse directions. This enables moving of the floor brush 10 to the left and right. If a rotary tubing fitted with a pipe is rotated 90 deg. to the left or the right, a transversely longer floor brush as conventional is obtained.

After the lapse of certain time, the brush 10 is moved slightly to the right or left for continuous cleaning. In this case, if the motors 23a, 23b are rotated in a reverse direction by operating the hand control unit, the brush 10 rotates in the direction opposite to the direction of arrow A.
