SOLUTION: This is the Nb3Sn superconductive wire material which is produced by a bronze process, and the ratio of cross-sectional area of Cu-Sn base alloy to the total cross-sectional area of Nb3Sn and Nb is 1.8 to 3.0, and the average area rate of Nb to the total cross-sectional area of Nb3Sn and Nb is constituted to become 5 to 20%.

摘要： PURPOSE:To avoid deterioration of the quality of a base metal, avoid excessive scarfing and lengthen the life of electrode in removing surface flaws of steel material utilizing a plasma arc by using gaseous mixture of H2 and Ar as working gas. CONSTITUTION:In a plasma arc generating device consisting of a water cooling nozzle having a built-in electrode, working gas and an electric apparatus, a steel material is made a base metal 1 and plasms is generated between the base metal and nozzle to remove surface flaws of the base metal. Gaseous mixture of 20- 60% H2 gas, 80-40% Ar gas in volume is used as working gas. By this way, even when the working gas is absorbed by scarfing zone of the base metal, the quality of the base metal is not deteriorated. As the thermal pinch effect of the working gas is appropriate, the scarfing zone is not scarfed more than necessary. Even when plasma output or scarfing speed is high, gently arcing scarfing groove 2 is obtained, and even if an ordinary W electrode is used, the life can be prolonged.

摘要： PURPOSE:To highly efficiently perform scraping works with appropriate melt scraping amounts according to the kind of flaws, by installing a torch and projector to a traverse carriage mounted on a running truck through an elevating arm and by operating the torch in accordance with a flaw mark detect signal outputted from a camera device. CONSTITUTION:A camera device 29 is installed above a traverse carriage 11 mounted on a running truck 6 which runs along a bed 1 and flow marks 3 on a billet 4 on the bed 1 are detected. The head section of a torch fitted to the carriage 11 moves near to the flaw mark 3. Then, the truck 6 and carriage 11 are moved and the reticle thrown by the projector 27 is made to coincide with the flaw mark 3 and an elevating arm 18 is lowered. A plasma output electric current is set on a controller 46 according to the flaw mark 3 and the flaw is melt scraped off by moving the truck 6 and operating a following-up device 21, blow-off nozzle 25, and plasma torch 24. When the scraping work is completed, the plasma arc is extinguished and the truck moves to the next flaw position with the elevating arm 18 at the lifted position.

摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a stick steel plate having no porous defect without increasing load to rolling mill by subjecting the widthwise center of a material to be rolled to a cooling treatment within a specific range in such a way as to produce a temperature difference between the center and the surface layer in the manufacture of a thick steel plate by rolling. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a thick steel plate of a thickness of 120mm., the widthwise center of a material to be rolled is subjected to a cooling treatment within the range of 2H-0.5H(where H is the thickness of slab at the beginning of cooling and B is the width of slab) in such a way as to produce a temperature difference between the center and the surface layer of the material to be rolled, and then the material is rolled. Or, after the cooling treatment, the draft of the material to be rolled in the initial rolling process is set to a rolling shape ratio of about 0.34 or more, and then the material is rolled. Thus, the porous defect of the thick steel plate can be effectively eliminated without increasing loads to rolling mill.
