    • PURPOSE:To execute controlled cooling and direct hardening with a simple cooling installation without generating cooling strain to a thick steel plate which is subjected to finish rolling in the stage of cooling said steel plate with water from the top and bottom surfaces while conveying the steel plate with conveying table rollers by forming the installation in such a manner that the thick steel plate can be restrained between the upper rollers and the table rollers.
