SOLUTION: When the control device discriminates occurrence of a bus reset in an IEEE 1394 bus (step S11), the control device transmits a device recognition command, to identify the device of a specific type to each target device (step S14). The control device discriminates the presence of information in response to a recognition command sent from the target devices (step S15 or the like), acquires a GUID(global unique ID) that is a fixed ID of the target device transmitting an ACK (predetermined acknowledgement information) when receiving the ACK (step S18), and registers the ID to a RAM as the device of a specific kind (step S19). The control device uses a node ID, corresponding to the GUID to transmit a control command to the target device, thereby controlling the device of the specific kind.

CONSTITUTION:A DAT 2 which digitally records the analog audio signals reproduced from a cassette tape recorder 1, after adjusting the recording level of the signals using a double recording volume 3, digitizes the signals by an A/D converter 6, converts into specified recording signals in a signal processing circuit 8 and records them onto a DAT tape 11 by a recording/reproducing head 9. When an excessive analog signal which exceeds the quantification range of the A/D converter 6 is inputted in the left channel during recording, an excessive input detection circuit 13 outputs an excessive input detection signal, inputs it to a controller 21 to detect the recording position where the excessive input occurs based on the output of a tape counter 12 and to display the position on a display device 18 after time coversion. This display shows the position on the cassette tape where an excessive sound is present. Accordingly, the corresponding part of the cassette tape is easily and promptly detected and the adjustment of recording level is made easy.

摘要： PURPOSE:To automatically optimally adjust a recording level by making the dynamic range of the digital audio signal outputted from an A/D conversion device equal to that of the digital output of a digital audio source equipment. CONSTITUTION:A controller 17 at first changes over a selector 10 to the side of a DA1 circuit 5 and allows the control code in a digital audio interface signal to input to a signal processing circuit 11 and then inputs the categorie code extracted by the circuit 11. Then, when a digital code is prohibited with the copy inhibition/permission code in the categorie code, a device is entered to a recording operation by setting the device to an analog input recording mode and by changing over the selector 10 to the side of an A/D converter 8. The controller 17 performs a level varying control with respect to a recording volume 6 until the digital audio signal outputted from the circuit 5 and the digital audio signal outputted from the converter 8 have the same dynamic range in a comparator circuit 9 and allows a recording to be performed on a DAT tape 16 in the level lower than a peak level.

The address of the inputted track number is written in a RAM incorporated in the controller 19. When the track number is erased, an erase key 20B is depressed at a reproducing time. The controller 19 calculates the address retroactively to by the prescribed time from the address to be erased, and searches the address to become the reproducing pause state. The erased address data are erased by the RAM of the controller 19.
