PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device that can quickly recognize the device of a specific kind. SOLUTION: When the control device discriminates occurrence of a bus reset in an IEEE 1394 bus (step S11), the control device transmits a device recognition command, to identify the device of a specific type to each target device (step S14). The control device discriminates the presence of information in response to a recognition command sent from the target devices (step S15 or the like), acquires a GUID(global unique ID) that is a fixed ID of the target device transmitting an ACK (predetermined acknowledgement information) when receiving the ACK (step S18), and registers the ID to a RAM as the device of a specific kind (step S19). The control device uses a node ID, corresponding to the GUID to transmit a control command to the target device, thereby controlling the device of the specific kind.
