摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a making method of a vacuum vessel for a nuclear fusion reactor, good in accuracy, causing no deformation, and enabling making processes and work time to be abridged. SOLUTION: A plurality of vacuum vessel sectors are made, and a binding jig for deformation prevention is attached to each of the vacuum vessel sectors while a raising frame is attached thereto. The vacuum vessel sectors are each raised by lifting the raising frame with a crane, and positional adjustment and fitting-up are conducted between a vacuum vessel sector serving as a reference and a neighboring vacuum vessel sector. After that, outer walls of the vacuum vessel sectors are connected together by welding at a job site, splice plates are worked and attached thereto for connecting inner walls of the vacuum vessel sectors, and thereafter the inner walls of the vacuum vessel sectors are connected at the job site. A torous vacuum vessel for a nuclear fusion reactor is completed by repeating such a process for 360 deg. relative to the other vacuum vessel sectors.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance mechanical rigidity or shield performance by employing a double wall structure vessel for confining plasma, arranging a plurality of ribs between the double walls, and filling the space between the double walls with a neutron shielding element. CONSTITUTION:The vacuum vessel has a double wall structure of inner and outer walls 10, 11 coupled integrally by means of a plurality of troidal ribs 12 and 13. The space defined by the inner and outer walls is filled with multiple spherical neutron shielding elements composed of a nonmagnetic material, e.g. an austenite based stainless steel. A plurality of through holes and irregular parts are made in the plate face of each rib 12, 13. Since a thin plate can be employed for the wall 10, 11 without significant sacrifice of overall mechanical rigidity, circumferential electric resistance of the wall itself can be increased in the troidal direction. Since the element 14 has small diameter and a dielectric layer of Al2O3, for example, is applied to the outer surface thereof circumferential resistance of shield layer is increased in the troidal direction and the element 14 can be treated as a dielectric part.

CONSTITUTION:Feed and exhaust piping 18a, 18b of cooling water are connected to the upper and the lower parts of an airtight vessel 16 in which a plurality of magnetic plates 12 layered in a toroidal direction in the inner part are housed, and these outlet and inlet are opened in a lower header 17a and an upper header 17b formed in a vessel 16. Plural cooling channels 14 are formed in the toroidal direction on each magnetic plate 12 housed in the airtight vessel 16, and both ends of each cooling channel are opened on the lower header 17a and the upper header 17b. But an electric insulator exists among each magnetic plate 12 and in the inner part of the airtight vessel 16, and excess current is reduced. Therefore, a cooling medium flowing in the airtight vessel 16 from the feed and exhaust piping 18a, 18b of the cooling medium is exhausted out of the airtight vessel 16 through the cooling channels 14 of each magnetic plate 12 and so the magnetic plates 12 are effectively cooled.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil support for fusion reactor which does not generate excess thermal stress even with a position shift. SOLUTION: A poloidal coil 3 is supported with a plurality of support rings 4 placed on the circumference of the coil and the support ring 4 is supported with a support seat 6 placed on a toroidal coil 2 in the constitution of a coil support for a fusion reactor. The support seat 6 of the toroidal coil 2 and the support ring 4 of the poloidal coil 3 are connected with a link 9 and two pins 8. As the pin shaft of one pin is arranged in the radial direction of the device and the pin shaft of the other pin is arranged in the toroidal direction, even if the relative position of the two support points of the toroidal coil 2 and the poloidal coil 3 by electromagnetic force, the electromagnetic force can be surely supported without generating excess stress in the support 6 and the both coils.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of the material of vessel wall body by forming a layer of nickel alloy or a nickel-chromium alloy on the inner surface of a plasma vacuum vessel. SOLUTION: In a vacuum vessel 11 of nuclear fusion equipment, a wall base body 13 made of titanium of a titanium alloy can be isolated from hydrogen and plasma in the interior of the vessel 11 by a liner 14 of a manganese alloy or a nickel alloy. Therefore hydrogen absorption by the titanium or the titanium alloy is prevented and deterioration of the base body 13 to be caused by the hydrogen absorption can be prevented. Since activation can be reduced by lessening the thickness of the liner 14 made of the manganese alloy or the nickel alloy, besides, execution of an operation by a person in case of a failure of the equipment is enabled and shortening of an operating time and improvement of reliability can be attained. Since the electric resistance of the nickel alloy or the like of the liner 14 is large relatively, moreover, a round-a-torus resistance value being necessary for ignition of the plasma can be ensured by using this alloy jointly with the titanium or the titanium alloy of the base body 13.

Then, an interval between the cylinder and the piston is sealed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the maintaining of a plasma vacuum area at a specified vacuum necessary for a plasma burning operation, by connecting a part of a vacuum wall having an access port formed in a vacuum container to a post section of the vacuum container. CONSTITUTION:A part of a vacuum wall 4 having an access port 5 formed in a vacuum container 1 is connected to a post section 11 of the container 1 and magnetic material 12 is arranged at a heat insulated vacuum area of a toroidal magnetic field coil 7 surrounded by the vacuum wall 14. With such an arrangement, a ripple magnetic field of the toroidal magnetic field is relaxed while the lowering of the vacuum can be prevented at a plasma vacuum area otherwise caused by a gas released from the magnetic material 12. This enables the relaxation of the ripple magnetic field of the toroidal magnetic field without enlarging the coil 7 and the whole of the apparatus while permitting the maintaining of the plasma vacuum area at a specified vacuum necessary for plasma burning operation.
