摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive an enhanced damping practice by mounting a flat steel bar on a steel beam on an upper floor and a lower floor and mounting a steel plate damper between gusset plates welded with the flat steel bars during steel structural work and burying the flat steel bars and the gusset plates in an RC-made hanging wall and a spandrel wall. SOLUTION: Flat steel bars 3 are suspended from a beam 2a of steel-made upper floor included in SRC in a framework of an SRC-made post 1 and a beam 2 and erected from the beam 2a on the lower floor and welded, thereby welding each of gusset plates 4 with their end. Then, a steel plate damper 5 is welded between the gusset plates 4. A shearing force produced on the steel plate damper 5 is transmitted to the RC-made hanging wall 8 and the spandrel wall 5 with a shear key plate welded with the gusset plates 4. This construction makes it possible to mount the steel plate damper at the same time with structural steel work and join the RC-made hanging wall 8 and the spandrel wall 5 in the framework of the post 1 and the beam 2 with the steel plate damper 5 and thereby simplify the execution of work and transmit the shearing force acting on the steel plate damper 5 to the RC-made structure effectively.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent the vertical stress fluctuation of a lead body and secure the pure shearing deformation of the lead body by fixing a plastic deformation section made of the lead body on one side of a structure, arranging an axial guide mechanism section allowing a vertical shift on the other side, and arranging link mechanisms on both sides of the plastic deformation section. CONSTITUTION: When earthquake force is applied, upper and lower structures G, B are relatively displaced in the horizontal direction. A link mechanism section 2A mainly follows the displacement of the upper structure G. The deformation of the lead body 4 of a plastic deformation section 1 is restricted by the displacement of the link mechanism section 2A. The vertical shift of a vertical guide mechanism section 2B is restricted by the deformation of a link mechanism section 2B. The fluctuation of the lead body 4 in the height direction is absorbed by the shift of a piston body 18 caused by the fluctuation of the lower link of the link mechanism section 2A. No excessive tensile resistance is applied to the lead body 4. The axial deformation stress applied to the lead body 4 is mitigated, and the pure shearing plastic deformation can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To effectively reduce a seismic response to the wide range extending from a weak or strong earthquake to a disastrous or ruinous earthquake, by a method wherein an active type seismic control apparatus is provided on the upper of a structural frame and passive type seismic control apparatus each are located at the lower floors of the structural frame. CONSTITUTION:An active type seismic control apparatus 2 with dynamic vibration reducers is provided on the upper part of a structural frame 1 and an passive type seismic control apparatus 3 with elasto-plastic dampers is located at each of the lower floors thereof. When a weak or strong earthquake below a very strong earthquake occurs, the apparatus 2 displays the effect of controlling the movement of the structural frame 1 and reduces a seismic response. When a very strong disastrous earthquake occurs, some of the elasto-plastic dampers in the apparatus 3 yield, absorb vibrational energy, and reduce the responce. Under such conditions, furthermore, the apparatus 2 displays the effect and reduce the response more and more. When a disastrous or ruinous earthquake occurs, the rest of the elasto-plastic dampers in the apparatus 3 all yield, absorb the vibrational energy, and reduce the response. In this case, the apparatus 2 is also actuated and reduces the response.

The adhesive strength between the lead 31 and the lead alloy 32 and between the lead alloy 32 and the flange 2 are larger than material strength of the lead alloy, so that tensile breakage and adhesive breakage and prevented without increasing sectional areas of both ends and thus the deformation capability is enhanced.
