摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate base isolation for the vibration of a constant value or more such as earthquake by providing a cylinder, a piston, a piston rod, an orifice passage, fluid, an energizing means for energizing the piston and an abutment means for abutting any one of the piston rod and the cylinder on the recess part of any one of a structure and foundation. SOLUTION: A lock mechanism 1 is disposed between a structure 13 and foundation 14 to support the structure 13, and used together with base isolation bearing base-isolating the structure by the shearing deformation of a horizontal direction 51. When the force of the horizontal direction 51 exceeds a constant value, force against a coil spring 35 is applied to a piston rod 6 through the roller 43 of a recess part 15, a piston 4 starts lowering, the roller 43 rolls out of the recess part 15 to release locking, base isolation bearing is shear-deformed in the horizontal direction 51. Transmission of vibration such as earthquake of the structure 13 is reduced by the shearing deformation and vibration energy is attenuated. Thus, the base isolation can be operated for the vibration such as the earthquake.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust damping characteristics for an input of earthquake in a base isolation structure of building by randomly using a low-friction slide bearing and layered rubber bearing and further an oil damper when required. SOLUTION: A stainless steel plate 3 is attached to the side to be isolated 1 and a rubber pad 5, intermediate plate 6 and lubricating material (oil- containing polyacetal resin) 7 are successively superposed on a base 4 mounted on a foundation 2 to bear a load on the side to be isolated 1. Or a base 4, rubber pad 5, intermediate plate 6, and lubricating material (tetrafluoroethylene resin) 7 are successively layered under the side to be isolated 1 and a lubrication oil frame 8 is provided on a stainless steel plate 3 attached to the foundation 2 and the interior of the frame 8 is filled with lubricating oil so that the load of the material 7 layered from the side to be isolated 1 is born on the plate 3. If required, a slide bearing for backup is provided for a failure of the layered rubber bearing, and a displacement speed proportional type viscosity damping device (oil damper) also is used to enhance base isolation performance.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent the vertical stress fluctuation of a lead body and secure a pure shearing deformation by arranging a plastic deformation section made of the lead body on one side of a structure, and arranging a vertical shift mecha nism section allowing the vertical shift via the sliding between a piston body and a cylinder body on the other side. CONSTITUTION: An axial shift mechanism section 2 allowing the vertical shift via the sliding between a piston body 11 and a cylinder body 12 is arranged at the upper section of a plastic deformation section 1 mainly made of a lead body 4. When earthquake force is applied, upper and lower structures G, B are relatively displaced, then this lead damper D restricts the horizontal shift with the vertical shift mechanism section 2. A horizontal deformation is applied to the lead body 4 of the plastic deformation section 1 having small lateral rigidity, and the earthquake energy is absorbed. The displacement acceleration of the upper structure G is damped, and the relative displacement is suppressed for damping action. A large energy absorbing capability is obtained, the lead body 4 can be miniaturized, the expected energy absorption characteristic is exerted according to the design specification, and the standardization of designing can be attained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide damping effectively over a wide range of vibration by a method wherein an elasto-plastic deformation damper section and a laminated rubber damper section are joined perpendicularly together and are connected with each other so that both the sections can be rocked freely. CONSTITUTION:An elasto-plastic deformation damper section 1 formed at least of one rod-like elasto-plastic deformation member 10 and a laminated rubber damper section 2 mainly composed of a laminated rubber body are joined perpendicularly together, and thereby a base isolation apparatus H is constructed. A regulating hole 58 is bored either to an upper bed plate 50 or an under bed plate 51 of the laminated rubber damper section 2, and a stopper member 59 is arranged in the regulating hole 58 with a specified distance maintained, and thereby the laminated rubber damper section 2 and the elasto-plastic deformation member 10 are connected with each other so that both the members can be rocked freely. In a structure as mentioned above, the laminated rubber damper section 2 undergoes relatively small horizontal vibration while the elasto-plastic deformation damper section 1 undergoes large horizontal vibration. Therefore the apparatus can give damping effect over a wide range of vibrations.
