    • PURPOSE:To provide a temperature control type material irradiation device to maintain the radiation temperature of an irradiation sample set in a reactor core at a constant level at the time of variation of reactor core output. CONSTITUTION:This is constituted of an inner cylindrical pipe 6 furnished with a piping to let sodium flow in and out of the piping by way holding an irradiation sample 7 and an outer cylindrical pipe 4 furnished with a piping storing the inner cylindrical pipe 6 with a gas gap 5 and to let cooling gas filled in the gas gap 5 flow in and out of the piping, and the coefficient of thermal expansion of the material of the inner cylindrical pipe 6 is made larger than that of the outer cylindrical pipe 4. As temperature change of the gas gap 5 controls refrigeration and compensates temperature change of the irradiation sample 7 at the time of variation of reactor core output, it is possible to maintain the temperature of a constantly irradiated sample to a roughly constant level without any time lag.

    • PURPOSE:To make the structure simpler by eliminating baffles and to improve maintenance by remodelling a dehumidification tower for waste gas to a structure wherein a discharge port of dehumidifying agent is eliminated and charge and discharge of dehumidifying agent are executed through a charging port of the dehumidifying agent. CONSTITUTION:An outlet nozzle 2 for waste gas and a charging port 3 for the dehumidifying agent are provided to the top of a main body of a dehumidification tower for waste gas having a vertical cylindrical structure, and an inlet nozzle 1 is provided to the bottom of the main body. Thus, baffles and discharge port of the dehumidifying agent are eliminated. In the stage of exchanging the dehumidifying agent, a cover 5 of the charging port 3 of the dehumidifying agent is removed and the dehumidifying agent is sucked out by using a vacuum sucking machine, and fresh dehumidifying agent is charged. By the use of the dehumidification tower for waste gas, scattering of dehumidifying agent is retarded and operability is improved.
