    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of signal transmission cables by multiplexing the detection signals of multiple sensors detecting the state quantity of a reactor, and individually transmitting scram signals outputted when signals become a reference value or above to make the reactor scram. SOLUTION: A transmitting circuit 1A multiplexes the outputs of analog sensors SA1a -SAka and digital sensors SA1d -SAjd at a plant site and transmits them to the receiving circuit 3A of a central control room via a multiplex transmission cable 2A. A trip circuit 9A receives the signals of the sensors SA1a -SAka and transmits the emergency stop signal of a reactor to a logical circuit 10A when the signals are of a reference value or above. When the signals of the sensors SA1d -SAjd contain a signal requiring to scram the reactor, the logical circuit 10A generates the trip signal to operate driving circuits and transmits it to the driving circuits of signal processing systems via individual transmission. The number of transmission cables required for the signal transmission between the plant site and the central control room can be reduced to the irreducible minimum.

    • PURPOSE:To automate regular tests of a safety system by determining whether or not a control signal for inspection from an inspection control signal generator is normal and providing a signal determining means for inhibiting transfer of the control signal for inspection to respective safety devices when the signal is not normal. CONSTITUTION:A safety system controller 2 determines control logic by an operation instruction 8 of an operation monitor board 1 and outputs a control signal 9, which is sent to respective safety system devices 4 via a transmitter 3. The devices 4 operate by the signal 9, and its status signal 10 is sent to the controller 2 via the transmitter 3. In the controller 2, control logic is determined by the signal 10, and the status of the devices 4 is displayed on the monitor board 1. Then when a regular test is selected by a regular test selection switch 7, a regular test controller 5 is actuated by a selection signal 12, wherein a signal selection circuit 6 is set in a direction of connection, a test instruction signal 11 generated in the controller 5 is sent to the devices 4 via the controller 2, and the signal 10 from the respective devices 4 is input to the controller 5. With the connection and disconnection of the circuit 6, the signal 11 which is not necessary at the time of normal operation will not be input to the controller 2.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a remote monitoring system of a central control room which transmits and displays plant operation information and plant state information from the central control room to an operation source and instructs information for operation in such as maintenance, checking, inspection, etc. CONSTITUTION:Plant state information and plant operation information displayed on an operation monitoring board 1 or display means 2, 5 and 6 in the central control room is picked-up by TV cameras 81 to 8N. Then, the piece of picked-up information is transmitted to the operation source which operates maintenance, checking, inspection, etc., and a monitor 10 monitors the piece of information to recognize the state and the operation situation of the plant at the operation source. On the other hand, picked-up plant operation information and plant state information of the central control room are transmitted in accordance with a requiring signal from the operation source and the operation source monitors the pieces of information so as to unnecessitate inquiry to the operator 3 of the central control room. Furthermore, the TV cameras 81 to 8N operate the functions of wide angle zooming and oscillating in accordance with the requiring signal so as to recognize partial information desired to obtain at the operation source.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an opening/closing device and to improve reliability, by constituting a control protecting device to secure the safety of a nuclear reactor with a quadrupled sensor, first - fourth signal processing systems for trip arranged in parallel, and independent two operating means. CONSTITUTION:The opening/closing device is constituted in such a way that independent two operating means are operated with trip signals outputted from at least two processing systems out of four signal processing systems, and constitutes a two-out-of-four logic circuit with two operating means. In other words, four series of signal processing systems 25A consisting of a signal processing circuit 1, a switching circuit 19A, and an abnormality diagnosing device 22A are provided, and are connected to a power circuit 5 that is the opening/closing device. In the circuit 5, relays 8-15 and excitation coils 16 and 17 are provided, and they constitutes the two-out-of-four logic circuit. By constituting a device in such a way, and when an abnormal state is generated in a plant, a scram electric magnet 18 is operated, then a solenoid valve 19 is opened, and a control rod is inserted quickly to a reactor core, thereby, the reactor is scrammed.
