摘要： PURPOSE:To suppress leak flow rate of a coolant, and vibration of a channel box (CB) by providing a mean on the lower tie plate, to generate a force which works on a part of the CB and draws the CB toward a lower tie plate side. CONSTITUTION:A lower tie plate 4A, when looking from an upper position, is square shaped and has dent parts 12 at each four outer side-surface 41A. The dent parts 12 are rectanglar, open outwardly and have slopes slanting at an angle theta at an upper part. An upper end of the slope 13 occupies a position of which distance from an upper surface of the tie plate 4A is (a), and a part having the distance (a) is made to be a flat plane rectangular to the upper surface of the tie plate 4, except a chamfer of angle part of the upper end part. A bottom part 12A of the dent part 12 is connected to the slope 13 and is made to be a flat plane positioned at a depth (h) from the part having the distance (a). A cooling water path 17 containing gaps 14 to 16 is formed by an outer side surface 41 including the dent part 12, and inner surfaces of a CB 8, and then the path 17 is constituted so that flowing cross-section may be small at the gap 14, may gradually increase at the gap 15 toward the gap 16, may be great at the gap 16 and also may be great at the cooling water path 11 higher than the gap 14.

摘要： PURPOSE:To accomplish a falling capacity treatment of radioactive solid waste at a large falling capacity ratio through a dry powdering thereof with a centrifugal thin film dryer equipped with a winged rotor. CONSTITUTION:A used ion exhange resin in a storage tank 6 fed into a shell of a contrifugal thin film dryer 1. With a rotating shaft inserted into the shell, a blade 11 is provided. The shell is heated by steam fed from a boiler 9. Ion exchange resin slurry fed adheres to the inner wall of the shell by a centrifugal force accompanying the rotation of the rotating shaft. The slurry is allowed to be dry while falling along the wall, and finely crushed into powder with the rotation of the blade 11. The dry powdery solid thus obtained is granulated into a cylinder-shaped pellet with a pelletizer 12.

摘要： PURPOSE:To more reduce the creep of the channel box by providing a spacer support means supporting a fuel spacer in vertical direction to a core center with a channel box protruding inside. CONSTITUTION:A tub 18 for support contacts with a band 15 of a fuel spacer 5, and supports the spacer 5 in horizontal direction. A tub 19 for support contacts with the outside of an upper tieplate 2, and supports the upper tieplate 2 in horizontal direction. From among fuel rods 4 positioning in the outer-most circumference, the rubs 18 and 19 are arranged in the position facing on the second fuel rod 4 from the fuel rod 4 in the corner part. As the tub, contacting with the inside of a channel box 6 conventionally, is not formed in the band 15, the band 15 is all right only to bend flat plates. A height h2 of the tub 18 is elevated higher than a height h1 of the spacer 5. This configuration is adopted because the tug 18 supports the spacer 5 even when the fuel rod 4 stretches in the axial direction by thermal expansion, etc., at the time of operation and also the spacer 5 and the channel box 6 moves upward.
