摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal device for a vane having a long life with excellent damage resistance and corrosion resistance against opening/closing of the vane and a flow of high pressure water, simple in constitution and easy to assemble and disassemble. SOLUTION: This seal device is interposed in a compressed state between an end face of a swivelably formed vane 2 and a fixed wall 6 opposed to the end face of this vane, and provided with a seal rubber 3 fixedly held to the fixed wall 6 side. Here, a recessed part 20 is provided on a surface of the fixed wall 6, a holding member 12 holding the seal rubber 3 in an embedded condition in a groove is fitted in this recessed part 20, this hold member 12 is fixed by a tightening bolt 9, and a seal material 11 for preventing leak through a hole of this tightening bolt 9 is applied to the periphery of a head part of the tightening bolt 9, so as to apply a seal material 10 to the total periphery between an external peripheral wall surface of the holding member 12 and a recessed part wall surface.

摘要： PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembling/disassembling of a runner vane while also reduce the width of an installing space by dividing a support column which supports a discharge ring, up and down into two, and making one of the divided columns removable. CONSTITUTION:A discharge ring 7 is horizontally divided into two. Support columns for supporting the support legs 14, 14 of the lower discharge ring 7a, can be divided up and down, and the upper stage support columns 27 are removable. When disassembling, first, the upper discharge ring is removed and suspended out. Then, the upper stage support columns 27 are removed, and the lower discharge ring 7a is lowered by that amount to get out of the way and, then, a runner vane 1 is horizontally moved and removed. An assembling operation can be carried out by reversing this procedure.

摘要： PURPOSE:To apply a packing to an ultrahigh head pump water turbine by operating pressure water on an inverted U-shaped elastic body to generate internal force, and sealing the pressure water with the surface pressure of a metal seal caused by the internal force. CONSTITUTION:An inverted U-shaped elastic body 8b is arranged on a metal seal 8a and one or more pressure guide groove 10 is made in the elastic body 8b to operate water pressure 10a on the inverted U-shaped elastic body 8b. A metal and the inverted U-shaped elastic body are used for sealing in a plane direction and water pressure is operated on the counter water sealing face side of the elastic body, so that the elastic body is deformed in the axial direction, self-sealed, increased in sealing force as a head is increased and easier to set an interference. If the head is unbalanced with the self-sealing, the water sealing face of the metal is adjusted and surface pressure is thereby adjusted to prevent leakage.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate complicated cooling piping and simplify a facility by connecting a heat pipe between a lubricating oil tank and the flowing water level in a turbine casing, etc., transferring to and radiating from the flowing water a heat in the lubricating oil heated by frictional heat of a bearing by means of the heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:A heat pipe 1 is inserted into a lubricating oil tank 3 at a position where the most effective endothermic can be obtained, and the opposite side of the heat pipe 1 is made in contact with flowing water through the wall of a turbine casing 2. When the heat generated in a turbine bearing 4 is accumulated in the lubricating oil in the oil tank 3 and the temperature of oil in the oil tank rises, the heat is absorbed by the heat pipe 1 and the refrigerant sealed in the pipe 1 is bolted to become steam which is moved to and cooled at a heat radiating section and returned as condensate. This procedure is made repeatedly to cool the lubricating oil in the oil tank 3. Thus, an water supply and drain facility for cooling the bearing section 4 can be simplified.
