摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate complicated cooling piping and simplify a facility by connecting a heat pipe between a lubricating oil tank and the flowing water level in a turbine casing, etc., transferring to and radiating from the flowing water a heat in the lubricating oil heated by frictional heat of a bearing by means of the heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:A heat pipe 1 is inserted into a lubricating oil tank 3 at a position where the most effective endothermic can be obtained, and the opposite side of the heat pipe 1 is made in contact with flowing water through the wall of a turbine casing 2. When the heat generated in a turbine bearing 4 is accumulated in the lubricating oil in the oil tank 3 and the temperature of oil in the oil tank rises, the heat is absorbed by the heat pipe 1 and the refrigerant sealed in the pipe 1 is bolted to become steam which is moved to and cooled at a heat radiating section and returned as condensate. This procedure is made repeatedly to cool the lubricating oil in the oil tank 3. Thus, an water supply and drain facility for cooling the bearing section 4 can be simplified.
