摘要： PURPOSE:To restrain cavitation and erosion and to prevent erosion in apparatus by forming a build-up layer of solidified structure construction crystallizing complex carbide of Cr carbide or chromium as the essential substance in a net-work state in the matrix of alloy on the surface. CONSTITUTION:The build-up layer having the solidified structure construction precipitating and crystallizing the complex carbide of Cr carbide or chromium as the essential substance as the net-work in the welded build-up layer on the surface of the metal basis composed of alloy containing at least one kind of Fe and Ni as the essential component and 15-30wt.% Cr, is formed on the surface of apparatus member. For this purpose, wear caused by cavitation, soil and sand, etc., and erosion caused by water drop are restrained and therefore, erosion in the apparatus is prevented and reduction of driving efficiency can be decreased and large effect to improvement of the service life, is obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve characteristic of wear resistance against earth and sand and improve anti-cavitation characteristic by coating a water flowing member of a hydraulic machine with epoxy resin added with liquid state rubber and inorganic powder. CONSTITUTION:A hydroelectric water turbine is constituted with water flowing members such as a crown 5, a shroud 6, a runner impeller 7, a runner cone 8, a guide vane 9, a stay vane 10, a runner liner 11 and a seat liner 12 and others. The intended purpose is achieved by coating the surfaces of said water flowing members of the water turbine with epoxy resin added with liquid state rubber and inorganic powder. As the liquid state rubber, polybutadiene rubber or silicone rubber is added by 200-400 weight parts to 100 weight parts of epoxy resin. As the inorganic powder, crystalline or spheroidal silica or alumina is added by less that 60 weight % to the mixture of the epoxy resin and the liquid state rubber.

摘要： PURPOSE: To suppress the occurrence of cavitation and sand wear by a method wherein composite powder of austenite stainless steel and metal carbide ceramics is used, and a padding layer having a coagulation texture structure wherein ceramics particles remain is formed on the surface of an apparatus member surface. CONSTITUTION: A runner body being the moving vane of a water turbine has a plurality of vanes 3 located between a crown 1 and a shroud 2, and provided with a runner cone 4, guide vanes 5, stay vanes 6, a runner liner 7, and a facing plate 8. In this case, a member having a padding weld layer having cavitation resistance higher than that of a parent material is arranged at a part on which an impact by flow water is exerted. A padding weld layer forms a metal texture having a matrix of austenite stainless steel and dispersing carbide. Further, the austenite stainless steel contains 0.05-0.15wt.% C, 0.2-1.0% Si, 7-13wt.% Mn, 2-7wt.% Ni, and 17-23wt.% Cr or is a steel containing 1-3wt.% Mo or other.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain stable seal performance from the beginning of assembly and obtain a shaft sealing device superior in endurance for high pressure turbid water as well and designating stable sealing performance for a long period by using a flexible member as a sealing member and adding a function for preventing deformation to at least one side of its inner and outer peripheries. CONSTITUTION:A flexible member 3A is used as a sealing member and a member 3B is stuck and fixed between high pressure side 10 thereof and a seal case 5, so as to provide function for preventing deformation. When high pressure turbid water acts thereto it flows in broken line arrow mark direction and reaches the outer peripheral part of the member 3B. But even if high pressure fluid acts, as the member 3B prevents the flexible member 3A from deforming, and further the dead weight of the seal case 5 is supported, it is possible to set a sealing surface pressure to a suitable value and to obtain stable sliding character. Further, the most of sediment particles are checked with the outer peripheral part of the member 3B, and high pressure water containing very small particles passes through very narrow clearance of the sealing surface for leaking out in full line arrow mark direction.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of an apparatus and improve the life by using a metal organization dispersed with a carbide in a matrix made of austenite stainless steel for a deposit welding layer with high cavitation resistance. CONSTITUTION:In a water turbine provided with a guide vane 5 adjusting the flow of flowing water and a runner rotated by flowing water, a deposit welding layer 10 with cavitation resistance higher than that of a base material is applied to a portion applied with shocks by flowing water, e.g. the guide vane 5. A mixture of austenite stainless steel powder and metal carbide ceramic powder is melted by a plasma arc and fed to a welded portion, and the deposit welding layer 10 is formed at the desired thickness while a pool of molten metal is generated at this portion. The corrosion by cavitation and abrasion by sediment are suppressed, and the life can be extended.

The mixed powder is then placed in a metallic mold, the surface layer is flattened, the above-mentioned powder is charged in the thickness of 10-40% of the total thickness, and the materials are sintered, for example, at about 1,800 deg.C in gaseous N2. The obtained composite material is joined, as required, to the desired metal base material by an appropriate means such as engagement, adhesion, and shrinkage fitting.
