CONSTITUTION:A calculation circuit 21 calculates the proper injection timing D1 corresponding to the operation state of an internal-combustion engine. The speed data and the fuel temperature data which shows the temperature of fuel which is supplied also as working fluid into a hydraulic timer are input into a fuel- temperature correction data calculation circuit 27, and the deviation of fuel injection timing generated by the variation of fuel temperature is corrected, and a fuel temperature correction data D4 is calculated on the basis of the both input data. Thus, the accuracy in control of fuel injection timing can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To perform correct control at detection of a needle valve lift, by arranging the time constant of resistor and capacitor, in a feedback circuit of the comparison operational amplifier between sensor and reference signals, to a large value at low speed and a small value at high speed. CONSTITUTION:For engine speed not more than a prescribed value, an H signal is output from a processor 33 to turn on a transistor 31 and short circuit a capacitor 30, and the time constant of a feedback circuit 11 is increased by a resistor 12 and capacitor 13 to extend an H level section of the output signal W of an operational amplifier 6, accordingly the output signal S of a pick up coil 2 can be correctly detected even for continuous generation of a noise signal S0. On the contrary, for the speed of become at least the prescribed value, the transistor 31 is turned off, and the capacitor 30 is connected for the capacitor 13 to decrease the time constant. Accordingly, H level width of the signal W is decreased, and the signal W following up the signal S can be obtained, then operation of a needle valve can be correctly detected.

    • PURPOSE:To cancel offset inherent in an actuator without complicating a circuit constitution by offsetting a potential at a resistance circuit and the respective operation reference points of a switching means by required level. CONSTITUTION:An offset voltage generating circuit 7 applies offset voltages Va to switching elements 51 to 56 of a switching circuit 5 and the respective operation reference points of a resistance circuit 6. Weighted currents are applied through the switching elements made into a turned-on state in response to a digital command signal DC to a resistor 67 and a variable resistor 68 of the resistance circuit 6. The voltage corresponding to the sum between a voltage Vb generated by the current and an offset voltage Va is fetched as an output voltage Vout of the resistance circuit 6, and a current control circuit 8 controls the level of a driving current I of an electromagnetic actuator 3 according to the level of the output voltage Vout. Thus without complicating the circuit constitution, a necessary control according to an inputted digital command quantity is executed for the actuator attached with offsetting by a single power source.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the detection of any disturbance both during and after the startup of an engine, by discriminating a fault in a rotary sensor based on the output state from the rotary sensor and the working condition of a hydraulic switch. CONSTITUTION:The execution of an interrupt program is monitored by a pulse making up a pulse train signal S1 being outputted from a rotary sensor 33. In case an abnormality occurs in the pulse width thereof, it is judged whether the engine runs or not from a signal S0 indicating ON or OFF state of a hydraulic switch 11 and only when the engine runs, the rotary sensor 33 is determined to be in trouble and a backup data is fed to continue the operation control of the diesel engine 2. To discriminate a disturbance of the rotary sensor 33, a checking is made to determine whether the engine 2 runs or not based on the output state of a pulse from the rotary sensor 33 and the operating condition of the hydraulic switch 11 or the like and the discrimination of a fault is done based on the results of the detection. After the complete explosion of the engine 2, the disturbance of the rotary sensor 33 can be detected even during the cranking.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the power loss and the generation of heat by providing a start element in parallel to a switching element and impressing the voltage of an internal stabilized power supply to an external sensor (load). CONSTITUTION:Input terminals 2a and 2b of an external supply power supply circuit 2 are connected to output terminals 1a and 1b of an external stabilized power supply 1. While the emitter of a switching transistor TR2 is connected to the terminal 2a with the collector connected to an external extracting terminal 2c respectively. Furthermore a start resistance R2 is connected between the emitter and the collector of the TR2. The collector of the TR2 is connected to the base of a TR1 via a resistance R1 with the base connected to the collector of the TR1 via a resistance R3 respectively. Then the external load RL like a pressure sensor, etc. is connected to the external extracting terminals 2c and 2d of the circuit 2. Thus the TR2 becomes nonconductive when the load RL has a short circuit to produce the reduction of the voltage level. Thus the TR1 also becomes nonconductive. As a result, just a small current flows to the load RL via the resistance R2 and the power supply 1 is protected.

    • PURPOSE: To suppress a resonant phenomenon without impairing the control stability by continuously changing the frequency of a pulse signal for driving the pressure adjusting solenoid valve of a timer device in response to the rotation speed of an engine, i.e., the rotation speed of a fuel injection pump so that no resonant phenomenon occurs at required rotation regions.
      CONSTITUTION: A timer piston 7 is provided in the cylinder 6 of a timer device 4 to adjust the angular position of a roller holder 3, and the pressure applied to the timer piston 7 is controlled by a valve 16 opened or closed in response to a pulse signal from a control section 15. A resonant phenomenon occurs when the rotation number N and the frequency (f) of the pulse drive signal are at belt-like regions as shown by slant lines in the figure, thereby three characteristic curves (a), (b), (c) are prepared, and the optimum characteristic curve for each rotation number N is utilized to calculate the frequency under which no resonant phenomenon occurs.
