    • PURPOSE:To maintain the measuring sensitivity of the precipitation detector against cleaning and polishing and to prolong the life of the detector by providing a plurality of through holes bored through a rain plate with point electrodes that communicate the front and back of the rain plate with each other, and providing adjacent electrodes with different polarity. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 5 formed through a rain plate 2 is plated with copper foil 7 at the inner peripheral surface thereof to communicate the front 3 and back 6 of the rain plate 2 with each other and a space in the copper foil 7 is filled with solder plating 8 to form point electrodes 4. The plurality of electrodes 4 formed on the surface 3 comprise positive point electrodes 10 for connection to positive pole pattern wiring 12 and negative point electrodes 11 for connection to negative pole pattern wiring 13, which are alternately disposed, and so when water droplets attach to the surface 3 the resistance between the electrodes fluctuates, allowing detection of rainfall. When the surface 3 is wiped or polished the surface area of the electrodes 4 is not varied, so measuring sensitivity can be held constant, and since the wiring 12, 13 is formed on the back, scratch is prevented and the life of the pluviometer is prolonged since the wiring 12, 13 itself is not polished.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a moisture sensitive element which can quickly detect and respond to humidity by forming the element by impregnating a film made of paper, etc., with cellulose sulfate(CS). CONSTITUTION:The element is manufactured by forming a carrier containing a salt by impregnating the carrier with an aqueous solution of the salt of CS, such as the sodium salt of CS (CS-Na), isopropylamine salt of CS (CS-IPA), etc. The inner case 3 of an experimental device 1 for checking the characteristics of the carrier is filled with the aqueous solution 6 and a sample carrier (paper piece) 9 with electrodes 8a and 8b at both ends is hang from a lid body 3a in the space 7 above the solution 6. A sensor 11 detects the temperature in the space 7 and a heater controller 12 inputs the signal of the sensor 11 and maintains the temperature in the space 7 at a fixed level by controlling the turning on and off of a heater. When the electric resistance of the paper piece 9 is measured 10 by setting the temperature in the space 7 at 25rt. angleC and relative humidity in the space 7 at 31, 52, 71, and 88%, the CS-IPA gives the highest changing rate (sensitivity) of the electric resistance against humidity variation and excellent accuracy and responsibility can be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity of replacement when an electric filter is used as the filter, and the electric filter stops keeping an electric charge by a method wherein a pressure difference between the front face side and the rear face side of a mask main body is made smaller, and at the same time, a gap between the skin of a face and the side edge of the mask is eliminated, and fine-particles are prevented from entering from the side edge of the mask even when a gap is generated between the skin of the face and the side edge of the mask. SOLUTION: A flexible frame body-form conductor 9 is formed, and on the face on the side, being confronted with the skin of a face, of a frame body part 9a of the conductor 9, an insulating body 12 is affixed along the total periphery, and the conductor 9 and the insulating body 12 are covered with a filter 13, and thus, a mask main body is constituted. Then, the high voltage output side of a high voltage power source generator 17 is electrically connected to the conductor 9, and the grounding side 16 of the high voltage power source generator 17 is electrically connected to a desired location of a human body, and thus, a high voltage is applied between the conductor 9 and the human body.
