On the other hand, first plate thickness changing point position and second plate thickness changing point position, are determined by a plate thickness changing point position determining means 33, and the positions of two plate thickness changing points, are detected by a setting value output means 34. At timing when the plate thickness changing point has reached each stand, the roll opening degree setting value, roll speed setting value and tension setting value between stands of a corresponding rolling mill, are changed by using the output of the setting value calculating means.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously laminate resin having a print pattern on a strip-like metal plate with satisfactory dimensional accuracy by transferring a resin layer to the plate while continuously bringing a striplike carrier obtained by laminating the resin layer into close contact with one surface at least on one surface of heated striplike metal plate. SOLUTION: A striplike metal plate 20 rewound from a metal plate rewinding means Rc is heated by a heating means 2. Meanwhile, a striplike resin laminate carrier 21 formed of a carrier 25 and resin layer 22 is rewound from a carrier rewinding means 3. A resin layer 22 is brought into contact with the heated plate 20 via a deflector roll 5, sandwiched between laminate rolls 4, and laminated. This plate 20 is fed to a separating roll 8 to separate only the carrier 25, and wound by a carrier winding means 9, and the resin-coated metal plate laminates only with the separated layer 22 is wound by a winding means 10. As a result, the optimum resin layer is laminated with satisfactory dimensional accuracy.
