    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which makes it possible to apply an Ag based reflective layer or an Ag based semi-transmissive metal layer to an phase-change optical disk without especially providing a sulfuration prevention layer (barrier layer), and is excellent in mass productivity. SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium records and reproduces information by radiating a laser beam to a recording layer to change its optical characteristics and has following composition of a dielectric layer adjoining the Ag based reflective layer or the Ag based semi-transmissive metal layer. In the dielectric layer, a rate of niobium oxide is 50 mol% or more and 75 mol% or less, and a rate of zinc sulphide is 10 mol% or more but 30 mol% or less. Further, this layer contains at least one of aluminum oxide, tantalum oxide, silicon oxide, cerium oxide, yttrium oxide, hafnium oxide, and bismuth oxide or their mixtures.
