    • PURPOSE:To make the stable performance of diametrically expanding operation possible by a method wherein the separation speed of wire material from spiral pipe is made higher when the thrusting force applied to band-like body reaches a pre-set upper limit value at the diametrically expanding of the spiral pipe. CONSTITUTION:Spiral pipe 10' is produced by bringing the side edge parts of band-like body 10 mutually under high frictionally resistant condition with wire material and passed through a drainpipe 81. The resultant spiral pipe 10' is diametrically expanded by separating the wire material as the thrusting force is applied to the band-like body 10 under the condition that the tip part of the band-like body is fixed. The wire material is separated at high speed from the spiral pipe 10' when the thrusting force applied to the band-like body 10 exceeds the predetermined upper limit value. Said upper limit value is successively corrected in corresponding to the diametrically expanding position, which is determined on the basis of the wound length of the wire material, of the spiral pipe 10' to the existing drainpipe 81 so as to become proper upper limit value in response to the diametrically expanding position. Thus, the diametrically expanding operation can be performed stably.

    • PURPOSE:To smoothly enlarge the diameter of a helical tube with certainty by constituting a wire rod for locking side edge portions of a band-like body in such a manner as to be released from a helical tube at a high speed when a thrust force applied to the band-like body reaches an upper limit value, and correcting the upper limit value if a difference between the maximum of the thrust force and the minimum thereof exceeds a predetermined value. CONSTITUTION:The side edge portions of a band-like body 10 are locked by a wire rod 30, thus obtaining a helical tube, 10' which is inserted into a sewer 81 and the diameter of which is enlarged. In enlarging the diameter, an oil pressure of the tube manufacturing machine 20 is increased in the case of a large frictional coefficient of a band-like body 10. However, the oil pressure may not be increased because of the sliding of the bank-like body 10 locked in the wire rod 30 and the non-released wire rod 30. In this state, a speed of axial motion of a portion to be enlarged become higher than a releasing speed of the wire rod 30 from the helical tube 10', and a truncated portion L becomes short and a load exerted on the tube manufacturing machine 20 is increased. At last, tube manufacturing becomes impossible. When control of a difference between the maximum of the thrust force applied to the bank-like body 10 and the minimum thereof reaches its limit, the upper limit value of the thrust force is corrected to a smaller value. Therefore, the releasing speed of the wire rod 30 from the helical tube 10' is increased and the length of the truncated portion L returns to a normal length.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a tube manufacturing machine for manufacturing a helical tube without damaging reinforcing ribs of a belt-shaped body by providing flange sections inserted between respective reinforcing ribs and the outer peripheral surfaces of flange section in contact with a base on either of a couple of rollers providing thrust force to the belt-shaped body and knurling on the outer peripheral surfaces of flange sections. CONSTITUTION:A belt-shaped body 40 is passed through a couple of tension rollers 18 and inserted between a first drive roller 15 mounted on a frame 10 and a first drive roller 21 of a mandrel 20 facing the drive roller 15. A flange section 15a of the drive roller 21 is inserted between reinforcing ribs 49 of the belt-shaped body 40, and a knurled section on the outer peripheral surface of the flange section 15a is brought into contact with the back face of a base 42. Thrust force is applied to the base 42 by said knurled section to move forward the whole of belt-shaped body 40. Thus the thrust force can be applied to the belt-shaped body securely without damaging the reinforcing ribs positioned on the outer peripheral side of the belt-shaped body to be formed into a helical tube to manufacture securely the helical tube.

    • PURPOSE:To surely enlarge a spiral pipe in diameter by interposing a wire between the side peripheral sections of mutually adjacent band shaped bodies, forming a spiral pipe by a pipe manufacturing means mutually meshing the side peripheral sections, and thereby enlarging the spiral pipe while the spiral pipe is inserted into an existing pipe. CONSTITUTION:The side peripheral section of mutually adjacent band shaped bodies 10 are mutually meshed, and a wire 30 is continuously locked in order that the meshed portion is increased in frictional resistance, so that a spiral pipe is thereby formed. The spiral pipe 10a is inserted into an existing pipe 81 in order so as to be advanced, the tip end of the spiral pipe 10a is thereby fixed onto the existing pipe 81 thereafter. In the second place, propulsion force is imparted to the band shaped body 10 forming the spiral pipe 10a, so that the wire 30 is thereby separated at a specified speed from the spiral pipe 10b. Following which, the spiral pipe 10a is enlarged in diameter while the spiral pipe 10a is being rotated with the side peripheral sections of the respective band shaped bodies 10 slidably moved out of the section from which the wire 30 is separated. By this constitution, the deteriorated existing pipe 81 can thereby be recycled.
