摘要： PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the drive of huge weight even in case of manufacturing a tank of large diameter, and to make easy the assembly and disassembly of the manufacturing apparatus, by elevating and rotating only the manufacturing apparatus without rotating the tank body, in the manufacturing method for the tank with the steel strip being fed through the horizontally swiveling arm. CONSTITUTION:The pole 5 for supporting the forming device is detachably stood at the center of the tank's bottom plate 1 placed on the foundation; and the horizontal swivel arm 11 is attached to this pole 5. On this arm 11, the steel strip 4 is passed through the leveler 6, strip seamer-cutter 7, feed roll 8, and forming rolls 9 being located at least in three points; after that, the tip of strip 4 is welded to outer surface of the bottom plate 1. Hereafter, the holding frame 15 is guided by the lower roll 13 fixed to the holding frame 15 taking as the guide the bottom plate 1 or outer surface of the strip 4 wound in advance. At the same time, the strip 4, after being formed into the specified curvature, is spirally fed in good order, and is wound and welded at its both side edges by the seam welder 10. When the tank is formed to the required height, the pole, forming device, etc., are disassembled and removed away, and then, the top cover of the tank is built up by welding.

摘要： PURPOSE:To raise the manufacturing efficiency of a division plate for a spherical tank, by pressing a material into a curvature, cutting off the edges of the pressed material, chamfering the edges and preparing them for welding. CONSTITUTION:A material 9 curved by a press is so attracted on pads 13 on the end of rod of a cylinder 12 provided on a surface plate 10 that the material 9 is tightly fitted on the carrying faces of plates 11. Guides 14 for a cutting-off head 18 and a chamfering head 19 are moved up and down by cylinders 15 to cut off the material 9 by a circular saw and chamfer the material by a chamfering cutter 17 on the chamfering head 19. The material is thus machined into a division plate which has a part of a spherical surface. In the machining, the tools are moved up and down on planes which extend parallel with the horizontal and vertical divided faces of the workpiece along its spherical surface.
