    • PURPOSE:To execute a highly precise quenching to a leaf spring by restraining the development of strain in the leaf thickness and the leaf width directions. CONSTITUTION:Plural restricting machines 19 are arranged in the travelling direction between one pair of endless chains arranged to be able to freely travel inside an oil vessel. Plural slide shafts 22 are parallely arranged between a center frame 20 of the restricting machines 19 and supporting frames 21, 21. Plural shifting members 23 shifted along the slide shafts 22 are arranged to the slide shafts 22. Supporting bases 27 are arranged so as to be freely slidable to one pair of guide shaft 26, 26 arranged to the shifting members 23 and crossed at a right angle to the slide shafts 22. Restricting jigs 24 for restricting the leaf spring 10 in both directions of the leaf thickness and leaf width are arranged on the center frame 20 and the supporting bases 27. The supporting bases 27 are positioned while being adjusted by shifting in the length direction and the camber giving direction of the leaf spring 10.

    • PURPOSE:To produce economically a belleville spring member having excellent quality in reduction of the size over the entire part of a device and the reduction of a process for production by heating a blank material for a belleville spring by high-frequency induction heating to the required hardening temp. then subjecting immediately the material to molding and a heat treatment near the heated position. CONSTITUTION:A blank material 4 for a belleville spring is placed and fixed onto a holding jig 32 and thereafter a high-frequency coil 2 is horizontally moved to the side of a press-forming device 19 and is inserted and disposed between upper and lower dies 17a and 17b and is disposed in the position facing the material 4 on the jig 32. The coil 21 is disposed in the position where approximately half the material 4 is housed in a rotatable state into a half disc- shaped part 30 between the top surface plate 30 and bottom surface plate 30b. The material 4 is then rotated and driven together with the jig 32 and high-frequency current is passed in the coil 21 in an arrow A direction to heat uniformly each part of the material 4 up to the required temp. by the high frequency induction heating. The material 4 is thereafter disposed in the position deviated from the dies 17a, 17b and is further transferred to the 2nd position near the above-described heating position where the material is placed on the die 17b and is immediately molded to a truncated circular cone shape between both dies under pressure by which the intended belleville spring member is obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a continuous press hardening and transferring device which can automate and rationalize the hardening stage for objects to be hardened such as discrete parts by transferring continuously the objects positioned in an engaging state by a conveyor to a heating furnace and a press device, and cooling the objects in said device at an adequate rate. CONSTITUTION:Objects 22 to be hardened which are successively placed in the engaging parts 40 of a conveyor 11 in a positioning state are guided to the inside of a heating furnace 23 in a heating furnace 18 where the objects are hardened at a prescribed temp., then the objects are guided to a press hardening device 19. The objects 22 in the device 19 are cooled gradually to an ordinary temp. by upper and lower cooling platens 26, 27. The objects 22 are pressed by the platens 26, 27 during this time to avoid thermal deformation of the objects 22 after hardening and to correct the minor deformation that arises therein in the space of a passage 21. The objects 22 after the cooling are thereafter guided successively to the inside of a heating chamber 24 in a heating furnace 20 for tempering where the tenacity of the material is recovered by the tempering treatment and thereafter the objects are removed from the conveyor 11 in the position emerging from the furnace 20.
