    • PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency and the availability of a traction vehicle by disengaging an engaging member from a second coupling mechanism of a vehicle to be dragged corresponding to the detection result of an external disengaging command and engaging it with the second coupling mechanism of a vehicle waiting to be towed. CONSTITUTION:Upon detection of an external disengaging command through an universal caster, a coupling pin 11 is removed from the second coupling mechanism 4 of a vehicle 3 being dragged through a dismounting means thus separating the vehicle 3 from a traction vehicle 1. An engaging means rolls a coupling arm 12 from a first rolling position P1 to a second rolling position P2 so as to move the coupling pin 11 to the side of the traction vehicle 1, thereafter engages the coupling pin 11 with the second coupling mechanism 4 of a waiting vehicle 3 as the traction vehicle 1 advances and couples the vehicle 3 with the traction vehicle 1. Furthermore, an induction means resets the coupling arm 12 from the second rolling position P2 to the first rolling position P1 thus guiding the vehicle 3 onto a specific rail. By such arrangement, work efficiency is improved through elimination of manual replacing work and the availability of the traction vehicle is improved through automatic replacement of the vehicle 3 to be towed.

    • PURPOSE:To detect a displacement accurately by a simple construction, by a method wherein a stress corresponding to the displacement is applied to a sheet of a prescribed three-layer structure and a potential difference due to a change in a conductivity generated in a stress-sensitive member of the sheet is detected. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 20 is prepared by bonding a copper leaf 21 (conductive member), pressure-sensitive rubber (stress-sensitive member) 22 and a resistor film 23 (resistor member) in a three-layer structure. The three-layer sheet 20 is fixed by a fixing member 24, while the other end part thereof is fixed on the movable side. Electrodes A and B are provided at the opposite end parts of the resistor film 23 respectively, and an electrode C is provided at one end part of the copper leaf 21. A DC power source 25 is connected between the electrodes A and B, while a voltmeter 26 is connected between the electrodes A and C. The voltmeter 26 detects a potential difference generated between the copper leaf 21 and the resistor film 23. A curved part of the sheet 20 moves corresponding to a displacement X on the movable side and the voltmeter 26 detects the amount of the displacement as a voltage.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the productive operation and improve quality and reliability by disposing two magnetic plates opposed to each other through a non- magnetic member in upper and lower positions sandwiching a permanent magnet and electromagnet in a casing. CONSTITUTION:While the direction of a magnetic field of a permanent magnet 45 is set parallel to the axis of an output shaft 33 in the same direction, six electromagnets 50-55 are disposed on a circle within a range opposed to the direction of the magnetic field of the permanent magnet 45 and spaced a predetermined gap from the permanent magnet 45. Also, stator plates 31, 32 formed of two magnetic bodies are disposed opposed to each other through a mount base 40 made of a non-magnetic body (synthetic resin material) in the upper and lower positions sandwiching the permanent magnet 45 and electromagnets 50-55 in a casing 30. Thus, the magnetic fields generated by the electromagnets 50-53 do not cancel each other, but return to the original electromagnet from the electromagnets through the upper and lower plates 31, 32. Hence, the casing 30 is formed of lidded tubular upper and lower covers 36, 37 made of synthetic resin and fitting each other.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of an accumulator, by a method wherein, when a pressure in the pressure accumulating chamber of the accumulator attains a given value, a built-in valve is closed, and when it is increased to an abnormal high value, a relief valve is opened to return brake liquid to the master cylinder side. CONSTITUTION:When, during normal brake, a pressure in a pressure accumulating chamber 26 is below a given value, a valve 39 is opened, and brake liquid is fed to a wheel cylinder 2 from a master cylinder 1. Meanwhile, during reduction of a brake liquid pressure, brake liquid discharged to a reservoir 9 is fed to an accumulator 7 with the aid of a pump 14. When a pressure in the pressure accumulating chamber 26 exceeds a given value, the valve 39 is closed, and kick back is prevented from occurring. In this case, when a pressure in the pressure accumulating chamber 26 is increased to an abnormal high value, a relief valve 60 is opened to return the brake liquid to the master cylinder 1 side, and the occurrence of breakage is prevented. During disengagement of a brake, the accumulator 7 is restored to a state before control of a brake, the valve 39 is opened, and drag phenomenon of a brake is prevented from occurring. This constitution enables improvement of reliability of the accumulator.

    • PURPOSE:To stabilize the transmission of torque so as to aim at obtaining a satisfactory rise-up of rotational speed by controlling the amount of liquid led from a rear chamber into a front chamber through a liquid leading amount adjusting part in a liquid leading mechanism with the use of a temperature sensing element so as to control the amount of residual liquid in the rear chamber. CONSTITUTION:A fan casing 21 is sectioned by a partition plate 23 in a front chamber 24 reserving therein liquid 25 having a predetermined viscosity and a rear chamber 25. Further, a liquid lead-out mechanism 32 composed of a center shaft 28, a link 29 and a lead-out pipe 31 leads the liquid 26 from the front chamber 24 into the rear chamber 25 through a temperature sensing element 27, and a fluid coupling 35 transmits a power from a rotary shaft 33 to a fan casing 21. It is noted that a passage means 45 is actuated by the temperature sensing element 27 so as to adjust the amount of the liquid 26 from the rear chamber 25 into the front chamber 24 with the use of a passage 45a, an introduction hole 45a and an adjusting hole 45c. Accordingly, the amount of residual liquid in the rear chamber 25 is suitably controlled so as to restrain the transmission torque from varying, thereby it is possible to stabilize the drive force and to give a satisfactory rise-up of the rotational speed.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at smoothing the rise-up of the rotational speed and at enhancing the transmission capacity by providing a dynamic pressure generating part in the outer peripheral section of a rotary plate in a fluid coupling, a small torque transmission part on one side of the rotary plate and a large torque transmission part on the other side of the rotary plate, and by supplying liquid into the large torque transmission part after the liquid being filled in the small torque transmission part. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a small torque transmission part on one side of a rotary plate 36 in a fluid coupling, a large torque transmission part 38 and a dynamic pressure generating part 39 composed of an outer peripheral inclined groove 38 and a radial communication hole on the other side of the rotary plate 36. In this arrangement, liquid led into a rear chamber during rotation is filled in a meshing section in the small torque transmission part 37 centrifugal force urging the liquid radially outward, and thereafter it is fed into a meshing section in the large torque transmission section 38 after overflowing from a piercing hole 42. Accordingly, it is possible to give a satisfactory rise-up characteristic during rise-up of the rotational speed and to exhibit a sufficient drive force upon maximum output operation.
