    • PURPOSE:To achieve just enough cooling at each cylinder in equalizing a quantity of cooling water passing in and around each spot of respective cylinders by setting up each of both cooling water return and outlet ports as being sorted to both front and rear opposite sides of this multicylinder engine. CONSTITUTION:A water pump house 12 and a cooling water return port 5 both are formed in a cylinder jacket 1. In addition, a lower tank 13b of a radiator 4 is interconnected to the cooling water return port 5 via a cooling water inlet pipe 14 and the water pump house 12 in order. Likewise, a cooling water outlet 6 is formed in a head jacket 2. In succession, this cooling water outlet 6 is interconnected to an upper tank 13a of the radiator 4 via a cooling water outlet pipe 15. With this constitution, cooling water taken in from the cooling water return port 5 passes through the cylinder jacket 1, a water port 3 and the head jacket 2 in order toward the cooling water outlet 6 at the longitudinal opposite side. Therefore, a quantity of cooling water passing in and around each cylinder is equalized, so that neither-more-nor-less cooling is thus realizable at each cylinder.

    • PURPOSE:To regulate the angle of an injection cam shaft in relation to a fuel injection cam gear by changing an angle of a registration mark in relation to a key groove and to use a fuel injection cam gear in common to engines different in the working number of revolutions by selecting a plurality of sets of key grooves or registration marks. CONSTITUTION:A key groove 4 on the gear side and a registration mark 6 are formed at the fuel injection cam gear 3 of a diesel engine. The key groove 4 on the gear side is engaged with a positioning key fixed on a fuel injection cam shaft 1. Further, the fuel injection cam gear 3 is interlocked with a crank gear 8 through an idle gear 7 and registration marks 6 and 10 are registered with each other. In this constitution, sets of key grooves 4a and 4b for high speed and low speed rotation and registration marks 6a and 6b, respectively, are provided. Along with the rotation direction of the fuel injection cam gear 3, a phase angle theta2 between the key groove 4b for low speed rotation and the registration mark 6b is set to a value lower than a phase angle theta1 between the key groove 4a for high speed rotation and the registration mark 6a.

    • PURPOSE:To adjust a projection without disassembling it by screwing a projected flap adjustment cap on a front edge opening part of a spring holder storing a torque spring to energize a slider and adjusting the projection of a torque pin by screwing operation of this cap. CONSTITUTION:In a mechanical governor a governor lever 30 of which is constituted of a governor force input lever 31 and a spring force input lever 32, a spring holder 1 of a torque increasing device is provided firmly on the governor force input lever 31, and the head end part of its torque pin 3 is brought into contact with the spring force input lever 32. In this case, it is energized elastically by a torque spring 5. A projection adjustment cap 7 is screwed on a front edge opening 6 of the spring holder 1 storing a slider 2 on which the torque pin 3 is projectively provided. Thereafter, the torque pin 3 is inserted into a pin insertion hole 9 formed on a cap front wall 8, and simultaneously, between the front wall 8 and the slider 2, a spring 10 to inhibit the slider 2 spring constant of which is smaller than the torque spring 5 is interposed in the compressed state.
