    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide higher torque from specified active force without increasing the whole length of a crank arm. SOLUTION: A crank arm 4 is inserted into a crank shaft 2 in the situation where free radial slide is enabled. Rotating materials 5 are attached to both ends of the crank arm 4 in the rotational free situation, and the crankshaft 2 is enclosed with a guide-housing 8 with which both rotating materials 5, 5 contact. The contacting surface between the guide-housing 8 and the rotating materials 5 has such shape that during rotation of the crank arm 4 the rotating material 5 rotates and the crank arm 4 slides on the crank shaft 2. Torque provided from the crank shaft 2 by force(F) acting on an end of the crank arm 4 is proportional to an effective length L of the crank arm 4 that changes with rotating.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide larger rotation torque when a pedal is pressed down so as to climb a slope easily by constituting a first arm and a second arm in such a manner that they are on a straight line when the first arm is at a position where the pedal is pressed down and making the length of both arms sum of the length of arms of both arms. SOLUTION: When an arm 3 rotates in an arrow c direction, a small sprocket 4 connected with a small sprocket 5 by a chain 6 rotates in an arrow d direction by the same rotation angle as the arm 3. That is, when a central axis of the arm 3 which is at a position A rotates by θo and comes to a position B, an arm 2 rotates in the reverse direction to the arm 3 by the same angle as the arm 3 and moves from A' to B'. Consequently, the arm 2 is kept in parallel with a ground surface at all times and rotary locus of the arm 3 becomes locus shown by a. But, the center of a pedal 1 draws rotary locus shown by b and its radius of rotation is the same as radius of rotation of the arm 3. However, the length of an arm is prolonged at a position where power for pressing down the pedal 1 is generated, and large rotation torque is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a compact rotary driving device efficiently generating high torque by utilizing the planetary gear motion with three inner gears. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric plate 3 is eccentrically rotated centering on a crank shaft 1 by the rotation of a crank arm 2. An eccentric composite gear 6 fitted to an eccentric plate 3 via a bearing 5 and a support ring 4 is eccentrically rotated, and the portion with the maximum rotation radius of its outer gear is continuously engaged with a stationary inner gear 17. The outer gear of the eccentric composite gear 6 is rotated in the opposite direction to the eccentric rotation direction by the reaction from the stationary inner gear 17. This rotating motion is transferred to an outer gear 10 inscribingly engaged with its inner gear portion, and the outer gear 10 is driven at a high speed centering on the crank shaft 1 together with a gear 12 integrated with the outer gear 10. The rotation of the gear 12 is transferred to an inner gear 15 via direction converting gears 8, 9 and outputted from an output means 16 via a support wheel 13 and a bearing 14.
