Since a fuse 10 which is connected halfway a protection circuit 9 protecting electrical parts from damage even when a battery is erroneously connected in reverse to the terminal bolt 40 is inserted inside the bush 44, increase of the number of parts and man-hours for assembly of the AC generator for the vehicle can be limited to a minimum.

The plurality of fin rows which are adjacent on the outer circumferential face of the casting frame 1 are arranged in such a way that their heightwise directions in the cross section in a direction at right angles to their axes are made parallel to each other. As a result, since sand molds can be combined in an arbitrary sequence in the circumferential direction, the casting frame 1 in which mounting bearing surfaces of a terminal box are formed in a plurality of positions can be obtained by using a single forging film mold, and the casting frame 1 can be forged economically.
