摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer/a crosslinking-based polymer which is crosslinkabe in two ways and suitable for producing a nonwoven fabric product with high quality. SOLUTION: A polymer binder has at least two different reactive functional groups, that is, hydroxyl and carboxyl groups. These functional groups are capable of reacting with two other functional reactants, that is, polyaldehyde and aziridine which are present in a polymer and reactive with one of polyaldehyde and azirdine. When the reactive functional groups are selected in such a way together with selection of a crosslinking agent, curing at ambient temperature is made possible and thus the nonwoven fabric product having high quality is obtained.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyvinyl alcohol fiber having high wet-heat resistance and high tenacity by applying a dialdehyde (derivative) to a polyvinyl alcohol fiber in spinning process, crosslinking the dialdehyde after dry-heat drawing of the fiber and applying a transition metal to the fiber in either step of fiber- making process. SOLUTION: A dialdehyde (derivative) is applied to a polyvinyl alcohol fiber in the spinning of a polyvinyl alcohol polymer solution to obtain a polyvinyl alcohol fiber, the applied dialdehyde (derivative) is treated with an acidic solution at 50-90 deg.C to effect the crosslinking reaction and a transition metal is applied in either one of the steps of the above fiber-producing process in an amount of 0.5-50 ppm to obtain the objective polyvinyl alcohol fiber resistant to high humidity and temperature.

SOLUTION: This method for producing a polyvinyl alcoholic synthetic fiber comprises the first step of incorporating 2-10wt.% of dialdehyde, an acetalized material thereof or both thereof in a fiber, the second step of carrying out acetalization treatment of the fiber containing the dialdehyde, etc., and the third step of carrying out the acetalization of the treated fiber with a mixture of a monoaldehyde and an acid, while adding 0.01-1wt.% thermal stabilizer to the fiber in a suitable step of the first step to the third step to provide the objective fiber having >=8g/d tenacity.
