    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player which can output second data read from a second sector of an optical disk and recorded in a buffer memory when the second sector is designated after outputting first data read from a first sector of an optical disk to a processing circuit for reproducing information, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: The optical disk player is provided with: the buffer memory for storing data read from the sector of the optical disk when information is reproduced; a control portion causing the buffer memory to store, when the first sector is designated, the first data read from the first sector and the second data read from the second sector other than the first sector; and an output portion for outputting, when the first sector is designated, the first data stored in the buffer memory to the processing circuit for reproducing information, then outputting, when the second sector is designated, the second data stored in the buffer memory to the processing circuit.
