    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method for forming a stable image for a long time without changes in the image by environmental changes or without inducing image blur or stripe-type or speckle-type image defects. SOLUTION: The image forming method includes an electrostatic latent image forming step to form an electrostatic latent image on an electrostatic latent image carrying body, a developing step to develop the electrostatic latent image by using toner to form a visible image, a transferring step and a cleaning step. The electrostatic latent image carrying body comprises a supporting body and a photosensitive layer containing a charge generating layer, a charge transport layer and a crosslinked charge transport layer, successively layered in this order on the supporting body. The crosslinked charge transport layer contains a reaction product of a tri- or higher functional radical polymerizable compound and no charge transporting structure with a monofunctional radical polymerizable compound having a charge transport structure. The toner is obtained in a particulate state by the reaction of an active hydrogen group-containing compound with a polymer which is reactive with the active hydrogen group-containing compound in an aqueous medium to produce an adhesive base material.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming method, by which proper images are obtained even after long-term repeated use, without generating abnormal images, such as an image of a lowered image density or a blurred image, and to provide a high durability electrophotographic photoreceptor and a two-component developer used in the method and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: In the image forming method, in which an electrostatic latent image formed on the electrophotographic photoreceptor is developed with the two-component developer, the electrophotographic photoreceptor is an organophotoreceptor with at least a photosensitive layer and a surface protection layer disposed on a conductive substrate, wherein the surface protection layer contains a resin obtained by a crosslinking reaction of a crosslinkable charge transport material, containing a reactive hydroxyl group with a thermosetting resin monomer and a thermosetting surfactant; and a toner constituting the two-component developer has added inorganic fine particles and the addition is within the range of 0.8-3.0%, in terms of the amount of effective inorganic fine particles represented by Equation (1).
