    • PURPOSE:To enable correction of magnification error caused by variance of oscillation wavelength of a semiconductor laser by providing a clock signal generating means for generating a clock signal and transmitting it to a modulation signal outputting means and a means for changing frequency of a clock signal and correcting magnification errors. CONSTITUTION:Oscillators 15-17 generate clock signals having various different typesof frequency, and a multiplexer 18 selects the clock signals from the oscillators 15-17 in accordance with the signal from a changeover switch and transmits them to a phase locked circuit 2. Reference oscillation wavelength of a semiconductor laser 3 is set to 790nm. When its oscillation wavelength is of a segment ''1'', the multiplexer 18 switches the changeover switch so that the clock signal of 1.874mHz from the oscillator 15 can be selected. In the same manner the multiplexer 18 switches the changeover switch so that the clock sigal of 1.890mHz and that of 1.906mHz can be selected in case of a segment II and in case of a segment III, respectively. Thus when three types of clock frequency are used, magnification errors can be reduced to 1/3 compared with the use of only one clock frequency.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce malfunction due to noise remarkably in a photorecording device by providing a gate circuit and controlling signals sent from a synchronism detector to a phase synchronizing circuit through an electric wire. CONSTITUTION:A gate circuit 12 is provided in a laser printer to control signals sent from the synchronism detector 9 to the phase synchronizing circuit 2 through an electric wire 11. The circuit 12 is opened by a modulation signal for synchronism detection from a modulation signal for synchronism detection generating section in the circuit 2 during synchronism detecting period and passes synchronizing signals from the detector 9 to the circuit 2. However, during the time other than synchronism detecting period and modulation signal for synchronism detection is not inputted, the circuit is closed and invalidates signals from the detector 9. The circuit 12 is provided at nearly the same place with the circuit 2, and the detector 9 and the circuit 12 are connected by a long electric wire 11. Noise entered from the electric wire 11 is cut off during the time other than synchronism detecting period, and malfunction caused by noise of the circuit 2 is reduced sharply.

    • PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to have a heater for preventing special dew condensation by providing a DC power source for preventing dew condensation which makes an emitting element array for a writing light source light up during the time of non-operation of the device at the front step of the main switch. CONSTITUTION:When a recorder 20 is not operated, the lighting-up time of an LED array 27 is controlled by an LED array controller 25. Lighting-up of the LED array 27 because of the dew condensation prevention in the empty time during operation of the device 20 is controlled by a main controller 24. In other words, when it is judged that a switch 22 and an outer switch 29 turn off, the dew condensation prevention device does not operate. When the outer switch 29 turns on, lighting-up is executed for a certain time by the LED controller 25 after putting out the LED array 27 for a certain time. When the switch 22 turns on and the outer switch 29 turns off, the dew condensation prevention device does not operate. When the outer switch 29 turns on and the print signal occurs, the dew condensation prevention device does not operate. When the signal does not occur, the flickering is executed at suitable timing.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a reflection reflection having a small part opposite to an object to be detected, by setting the end face of one side of a light transmitter opposite to the object to be detected, providing a light emitting element and a photodetector opposite to each other on the end face of the other side and forming the optical paths for the irradiating light and reflected light within the light transmitter. CONSTITUTION:An end face of a light transmitter is set opposite to an object to be detected, and a light emitting element and a photodetector are set opposite to each other on the other end face. A circuit is connected to the photodetector to emit a signal when the object to be detected is detected. At the same time, an optical path for the irradiating light from the object to be detected and an optical path for the light reflected from the object to be detected are provided in the light transmitter. For instance, an end of an optical fiber 9 is set opposite to an object to be detected as an end face 901 opposite to the object 8. The other end of the fiber 9 is connected to a holder 12. This holder 12 supports a light emitting element 10 and a photodetector 11 opposite to a face 902 opposite to the holder 12.
