On the other hand, a throttle actuator 5 is equipped with a brushless motor 25 which is composed of a stator 23 consisting of a stator core 39 wound with a stator winding 42 and a magnetic rotor 24 consisting of a permanent magnet. In addition, the brushless motor 25 varies a current to the stator winding 42 by an output signal out of a pole position detector 27. In this case, a rotation of the magnetic rotor 24 is transmitted to the throttle valve 4 after being decelerated by a gear or a speed reducing means.

The totally closed position and the totally opening position of a valve body 3 are set at the rotation angle of the rotary shaft 7 at which drive torque of the actuator exceeds given torque and a control circuit 9 by which control is effected so that the valve body 3 can be operated between the totally closed position and the totally opening position is provided. As noted above, the increase of the number of magnetic poles causes the increase of drive torque and the decrease of the size of a coil, whereby the size and the weight of the actuator can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate reduction of the rotation unevenness regardless of temperature change and the vibration of an apparatus by a method wherein a speed error is calculated from at least two speed error values in the past and the gain of speed control is changed in accordance with the calculated speed error. CONSTITUTION:A speed controller C is composed of a driver INV which gives a current or voltage having a magnitude corresponding to an instructed speed and a speed detecting signal, a speed detecting circuit COUNT which detects the speed by a signal from a speed detecting element and a microcomputer MC which compares the speed instruction signal with the speed signal obtained from the speed detecting circuit COUNT and drives the driver INV. A value of rotation unevenness is obtained from a speed error calculated from at least two speed error values in the past and the gain of speed control is changed in accordance with the calculated speed error. With this constitution, a moving object can be always driven with little rotation unevenness regardless of temperature change and the variation of resistance elements.
