CONSTITUTION:An electrode chamber 2 and the migration chamber 3 are isolated by a semipermeable membrane 6. The circulating flow 16 of the liquid to be treated contg. the charge material to be separated is formed in the migration chamber 3 by a circulation pump 9 provided to the outside. The disturbance generated in the liquid to be treated by the Joule heat from the outside or the influence of the construction of the migration chamber, etc. during the flow of the liquid to be treated in the migration chamber 3 is blocked by the baffle plates 15 disposed zigzag in the migration chamber 3 and the liquid to be treated is maintained in the flow state in which the circulating flow is kept pushed out. The impairment of the sepn. performance of the charge material is, therefore, prevented and the large-volume sepn. refining of the charge material on an industrial scale is permitted.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the amount of separating processing of a charged material, by arranging one electrode at the central part of a container, arranging other electrodes radially with said electrode as the center, and separating an annular part between the electrodes by using films passing ions or electricity. CONSTITUTION:A top surface 2 and a bottom surface 3 of a cylindrical container 1 are closed. The inside of the container is concentrically partitioned by films 4 and 5. An electrode chamber 6, an electrophoresis chamber 7 and an electrode chamber 8 are provided in the container 1 from the center to the outside. The films 4 and 5 are made of a material, which passes small particles such as ions in a buffer liquid or electricity but does not transmit particles such as protein having large molecular weight. A positive electrode 22 and negative electrodes 23 are provided in the electrode chambers 6 and 8. The electrode 22 is arranged at the central part of the container 1. The electrodes 23 are concentrically arranged with the electrode 22 as the center. A charged material is supplied from a nozzle 15. A separated material is taken out of nozzles 13 and 14. Thus the processing amount can be improved.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain continuously high-quality, stable, ash-free granulated coal, by adding a binder to powdered coal water slurry, rotating impellers while controlling speed of rotation, and giving an alarm when the total number of revolution becomes ≥ a given value.
      CONSTITUTION: In a desulfurizing granulator wherein the powder coal water slurry 1 is blended with the binder 2, the impellers 10 and 11 are rotated, power for rotating the impellers is measured, and speed of rotation is controlled in such a way that the power becomes standard power. The number of rotations is measured and an alarm is given when the total number of the rotations reaches ≥ a given value.
      EFFECT: Time of exchange of impellers can be automatically expected without checking wear of impellers in detail.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of recovery of coal, by adding oil as a binder into water-and-coal slurry conveyed through a pipe line, and then by stirring and mixing the thus oil containing slurry to obtain granulated coal, so that the additive amount of oil upon recovery of the coal is made extremely small. CONSTITUTION:Coal 1 is pulverized in a pulverizer 2 into a predetermined gain size, and is fed into a coal heat-treating device 3 for subjecting the coal to heat- treatment under an inert atmosphere. The coal is then fed into a slurry-making tank 4 in which the coal is added with water 5 separately fed so that coal-and- water slurry whose concentration is adjusted is obtained. Thereafter, this coal- and-water slurry is fed through a pipe line 6 into an underwater granulating machine 7. Emulsion 8, for example, as a binder, separately fed and composed of oil and water is also added into the coal-and-water slurry, and the slurry is stirred and mixed to obtain granulated coal 9. The coal 9, after being discharged from the granulating machine 7 together with discharged water 10, is separated from the discharged water by a water separator 11, and is recovered.
