摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a logic circuit obtained a partial product and to speed up remarkably its action by taking a complement of '1' by the algorithm of a booth obtaining a partial product and adding '1' by a Wallence addition tree where a command taking a complement of '2' is given. CONSTITUTION:Logic operation circuits 2A-2D are constituted so as to take a '1' complement of a multiplicand X if the command taking a '2' complement of the multiplicand X is issued from decoders 1A-1D. If the command taking a '2' complement of the multiplicand X is issued from the decoders 1A-1D, it is directly inputted to an adder circuit 3 as addition data adding one to a complement '1' of the multiplicand X. When a signal C1 becomes active, the corresponding logic operation circuits 2A-2D take the complement of '1' of the multiplicand X, and simultaneously the adder circuit 3 adds outputs (AX', BX', CX' and DX') from the logic operation circuits 2A-2D according to the Wallence tree system. The adder circuit 3 adds one to the output where the signal C1 becomes active.

Thus, the low power consumption and high accuracy are attained compatibly.

CONSTITUTION:In connecting an output of other IIL 4 to an output N 1 of a part of a tri-state IIL 21, when an output of the IIL 4 decreases to an L level, the IIL 4 absorbs a current from an IIL 11 as shown in the arrow in solid lines to bring the input of the IIL 11 to an L level. Then the IIL 4 absorbs currents from other devices not limited to the IIL 11 only. In this case, as shown in the arrow in dotted lines, the absorbed current is supplied from the side of a constant current source 10. That is, the absorbed current required for the IIL 4 is satisfied completely by the constant current source 10. Thus, the mutual interference among plural tri-state IILs 21-2n formed in an island 102A of the same semiconductor device is prevented surely.

The flow-in of an injector current Ij is cut off and no electric power is consumed in an inactive mode where the input is set at H. Thus it is possible to obtain a logical circuit having the small power consumption by forming a logical circuit which positively utilizes both inputs (in) and phi.
