    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reversal prevention device of a reel for fishing, capable of quick operation, with excellent rotation control force and durability. SOLUTION: An outer ring body 11 is supported to a reel frame plate 2 coaxially to a handle shaft 6 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring body is circular. An inner ring body 12 is fixed to the handle shaft 6 rotatably along with the handle shaft and the outer peripheral surface forms a square cam surface facing the outer ring body. An annular holding body 14 is arranged integrally with the inner ring body in the annular clearance of the inner ring body and the outer ring body. A roller 13 is held inside the annular holding body 14 and the roller is provided slidably to the inner ring body and the outer ring body. When the inner ring body and the annular holding body are rotated in one direction by the rotation in the position direction of the handle shaft, the roller is moved near the side part of the inner ring body and the rotation in the same direction of the handle shaft becomes possible. When the handle shaft is to be rotated in the other direction, the roller is moved to the corner part direction of the inner ring body and held between the inner ring body and the outer ring body and the rotation in the same direction becomes impossible by a wedge action.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fishing line from being hooked to the supporting arm of the rotary frame of a spinning reel for fishing, or the like. SOLUTION: Outward surfaces 25 and 26 turned to the radial direction outer side of the rotary frame are formed on one or both of a pair of the supporting arms 12 and 13 on the rotary frame 7. The outer peripheral surface of the base parts 15a and 16a of a bail arm lever 15 and a bail arm holder 16 on the supporting arms is formed in a circular arcuate shape. To the outward surfaces of the supporting arms, cover bodies 31 and 32 provided with annular parts 27 and 28 for surrounding the circular arcuate outer peripheral surface of the base part on a tip side and provided with inward surfaces 29 and 30 facing the outward surfaces on both sides are attached. Since a clearance between the base part and the cover body becomes annular and the clearance between the cover body and the supporting arm is eliminated, the fishing line is not hooked.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back-stop apparatus of a fishing reel having excellent rotation-restricting force and durability and quick action. SOLUTION: An inner member 12 is fixed to a reel case 2 coaxially with a handle shaft 6. The outer circumference of the inner ring member has a nearly regular tetragonal form. A flange part 15 is coaxially fixed to the handle shaft 6 and an outer ring member 11 having circular inner circumference is fixed to the flange 15 in a state opposite to the inner ring member. A rotatably switching member 14 is provided to move a roller 13, which is placed in a ring-shaped guide groove between the inner ring member and the outer ring member. When the roller 13 is moved toward the edge of the outer ring member, it is clamped between the inner ring member and the outer ring member to obstruct the rotation in one direction by the wedge action. When the roller 13 is moved in the other direction, the roller is positioned opposite to the side of the inner ring member to allow the rotation of the roller in both directions.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spool sliding mechanism attaining the lightweight and the low cost of a reel by forming a cam groove holding part from a abrasion resistant hard material separately from the housing of the reel so as to form a part excepting for the cam groove holding part from a lightweight material. SOLUTION: A spool shaft 5 is supported to the reel housing 1 slidably back and forth with respect to the reel, and an oscillator 11 is fixed to the rear part of the shaft 5. In addition an oscillation gear 12 rotating linked with a handle 7 is pivoted to the inside of the housing 1 through a supporting shaft 13 forming a right angle with the spool shaft 5. A connection pin 14 converting the rotating movement of the gear 12 to reciprocating movement back and forth with respect to the reel to transmit to the oscillator 11 is hung across between the oscillator 11 and the oscillator gear 12. In addition, a contour- shaped cam groove 15 constraining one tip of the connection pin 14 to regulate the moving speed of the oscillator 11 is formed inside the housing 1 so as to surround the supporting shaft 13. The cam groove holding part 17 with the cam groove 15 is formed from the abrasion resistant hard material separately from the housing 1 and fixed to the housing 1.
