    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a molding superior in design properties without passing through a process such as drying or putty embedding, by a method wherein a reinforcing fiber of the outermost layer or a fiber structural matter is coated with a metallic or metallic compound film. CONSTITUTION:An outer layer is made of a material comprising a reinforcing fiber such as a glass fiber or a carbon fiber or a high-tension polyethylene fiber or a nylon fiber or a PP fiber or a fiber structural matter of them. Then the outer layer is coated with a metal such as aluminum or copper or gold or titanium or nickel or a metallic oxide such as an aluminum oxide or a copper oxide or a titanium nitride or a titanium carbide. In this case, the metal or a metallic compound which has favorable adhesion to a fiber of a lower layer and favorable color development properties is preferable. Then the higher transparency of a visible sphere of light becomes, the better it becomes and a thickness of the same is established so that the thickness interferes with the specific light. Then it is preferable that the thickness of a film is made into an extent of 500-5000Angstrom from a view point of the color development. Formation of the film is performed by a vacuum deposition method or a spattering method or a chemical deposition method.

    • PURPOSE:To reveal effectively tensile strength and the modulus of elasticity which are possessed by a reinforcing fiber, by a method wherein after infiltration of resin into gauze fabrics, the resin is solidified under a state where tension is applied to the fabrics in the direction of weft and the tension is made into such strength that a bend degree of the weft of a netlike molded material becomes a specific value. CONSTITUTION:At the time of manufacturing of a netlike molded material comprised by fixing gauze fabrics with resin, after the resin is infiltrated into the gauze fabrics, the resin is solidified under a state where tension is applied to the fabrics in the direction of weft. Then the tension is made into such strength that a bend degree Cf of the weft of the netlike molded material to be defined by a formula I becomes less than 0.03. In the formula I, Lf is a mean distance between the wefts 1, 2 adjoining to each other, Df is a mean distance between the one top 12 of a wave form of the center line of the weft 3 and a line 15 obtained by connecting the two tops 13, 14 adjoining to the top 12. With this construction, strength and the modulus of elasticity which are possessed by a reinforced fiber in the direction of the weft are displayed effectively and loadings of the reinforced fiber can be reduced.
