摘要： PURPOSE:To reconcile edge corrosion resistance and excellent appearance by setting the lowest melt viscosity of a film at the time of curing calculated from the measurement of the logarithmic attenuation factor in a pendulum type viscoelasticity measuring device to a specific value or more. CONSTITUTION:In order to enhance the edge corrosion resistance of a steel plate, it is necessary that the lowest melt viscosity of electrodeposition paint is 0.2 or more and, when said melt viscosity is below 0.2, edge corrosion resistance is inferior. As a composition of an electrodeposition resin achieving 0.2 or more, there is a composition consisting of a component 1 and a component 2 and the solid ratio 2/1 of the components 1, 2 is 0.03-0.15. When the solid ratio is larger than 0.15, edge corrosion resistance is enhanced but the smoothness of a coating surface is markedly inferior and both properties are not satisfied. The component 1 is a cationic thermosetting resin and the already crosslinked fine resin particles in the cation electrodeposition paint being the component 2 are obtained by the addition polymerization of a compound A containing two or more primary amino groups in one molecule thereof and a compound B containing two or more alpha,beta-ethylenic unsaturated groups in one molecule thereof and contain a cationic group and the mean particle size thereof is 0.01-1mum.

By feeding pure water from a feed source, the contacting part is washed and contaminants sticking thereto are mixed in the pure water. The water used for washing is transferred to a tank 31 where a sensor is held and the quality of the water is determined with the sensor and a water quality determining device 33. The degree of opening or closing of a valve for the pure water source, the angle of inclination of a nozzle, and the pressure of spray, etc., are adjusted by the fedback signal. Thus, the degree of contamination of a painted surface is held within a fixed range and maintains the quality of painted film at a fixed level.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the laminated coating film capable of improving the rust preventiveness of the edge of a steel sheet and the finished state after overcoating by controlling the lowest melt viscosity of an electrodeposition coating material, forming the coating film with a specified electrodeposition coating composition and applying a specified intermediate coat on the coating film. CONSTITUTION:The lowest melt viscosity of the coating film when cured obtained from the logarithmic decrement measured by a pendulum viscoelasticity measuring device is controlled to >=0.2, and the coating film is formed by the resin having the following composition. Namely, the coating film is formed from (A) the block isocyanate-cured amine-added epoxy resin, (B) the colloidal silica-contg. gelled fine grains obtained by dispersing a mixture of the acrylic copolymer contg. a hydrolyzable alkoxysilane group and a cationic group and cationic acidic colloidal silica in water and cross-linking the groups in the grain and (C) the epoxy cationic electrodeposition coating composition having the alkyltin ester compd. of a liq. aliphatic carboxylic acid. An intermediate coat having the coating film cure initiating time of 15-20min obtained by the above-mentioned measurement is applied on the electrodeposition coating film to obtain the laminated coating film.

CONSTITUTION:A sealer agent 3 is inserted in excess at the junction of an inner panel 2 and an outer panel 1 so that it is bulged out of the junction by hemming processing. This bulged-out sealer agent 3a is controlled by a molding groove 5a of a hemming processing press mold 5, and a seal section 6 covering the edge 1a of the outer panel 1 is formed. Next, the sealer agent 3 and seal 6 are hardened through the pretreatment and electrodeposition coating process. According to this constitution, sealing can be performed reliably and easily.

摘要： PURPOSE:To completely seal a hemming portion with excellent working efficiency, by applying a sealing material comprised mainly of a particular thermosetting resin to the peripheral portion of an outer or inner plate which forms a hemming portion, and installing an inner or outer plate, followed by hemming and curing. CONSTITUTION:A sealing material is prepared by using a thermosetting resin which does not flow at room temp. and can be thermally applied at a temp. of 40-100 deg.C (e.g., solid epoxy resin or solid unsatd. polyester resin) as a main component and blending the main component with a curing agent (e.g., dicyandiamide), a filler (e.g., acetylene black), etc. The sealing material is applied to the peripheral portion of an outer plate 2 or inner plate 3 to form a sealing material layer 1. An inner plate 3 or an outer plate 2 is installed on the sealing material layer, followed by hemming. Electrodeposition coating and baking are then conducted to cure the sealing material layer, thereby sealing the hemming portion.
