    • PURPOSE:To enable the evaluation of weldability for spot welding done under the same conditions as those in the actual spot welding by stacking steel plates one upon another through a sheet-shaped insulator having through holes formed thereon at a specified interval so as to allow a spot welding thereof at the position corresponding to the through holes. CONSTITUTION:Steel plates 2, 4 and an insulator 10 are delivered with feed rollers 5 and 6 having them stacked one upon another as separately wound on reels 1 and 3 through the sheet-shaped insulator 10. The feeding pitch L is set so equal to that of through holes 11 formed on the insulator 10 so that the positions thereof 11 align on the centerline of electrodes 7 and 8 at the start of a spot welding. The electrodes 7 and 8 are first actuated to start the pressurization of the steel plates 2 and 4. The pressurization deforms the steel plates 2 and 4 to contact one another through the through holes 11 thereof 10 to energize. Upon the end of pressurization for the preset hour, a welding current flows to form a nugget. Thus, the spot welding can be done under the set conditions for steel plates in the actual welding thereby enabling evaluation of the weldability of the steel plates in condition closer to the actual spot welding work.

    • PURPOSE: To provide the titled sheet without discrepancy and release when heated, by attaching to one side of a thermosetting reinforcing resin sheet a narrower bead-forming material, which is provided with a sticky layer on the open side, and making bases on the bead-forming material-carring side of the sheet and the sticky layer both bonding surfaces.
      CONSTITUTION: A bead-forming material 3 with a width narrower than that of a thermosetting sheets 2, in an uncured or half-cured state, having a reinforcer 6 is attached to one side of the sheet 2 and a sticky layer 4 is formed on the open side of the bead-forming material 3. Bases 2a, 2b on the bead-forming material-carrying side of the sheet 2 extending further beyond the width of the bead-forming material 3 and the sticky layer both are applied to a substrate to be reinforced, such as surfaces 5 of exterior door panels 5 of automobiles, and heated. Therefore the plate 2, whose viscosity is tentatively reduced, is bonded to the panels 5. Simultaneously, the bead-forming material 3 is foamed to form bead-shaped expansion areas 2f. Further heating causes the sheet 2 to be cured, with the state shown in figure.

    • PURPOSE:To adhere a reinforcing material to a base material, make a foamable material to be foamed and harden a resin material efficiently by a method wherein a reinforcing material containing a thermosetting resin and a foaming material is adhered to a base material after under-coating the base material, and is foamed and hardened by using the heat supplied at the time of drying a top coat. CONSTITUTION:Press working of an outer panel 2 and an inner panel 5 for a door 1 and the like and assembling thereof are conducted in a car body assembling step A. In a coating step B a pretreating step 20 for carrying out degreasing, washing, chemical conversion treatment and the like, a drying step 21, an under-coating step 22, a baking step 23, an intermediate coating step 24, a baking step 25, a top coating step 26, a baking step 27, an inspection and touching-up step 28, etc. in that order are provided. The reinforcing material 13 containing a thermosetting resin material 11a and a foamable material 14 is first adhered to the base material 2a for forming a panel at a part requiring stiffness, after under-coating the base material 2a. Then, by using the heat supplied in the top coating step, the foamable material 14 is foamed to expand the reinforcing material 13 and the material 13 is hardened, whereby a reinforcing rib 12 in the form of a tunnel is molded as one body with the base material 2a.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of vibration isolating effect when processed to a product by a method wherein the working strain is preliminarily applied to a dislocation type vibration isolating steel plate and, after subjected to the ageing treatment at a temp. higher than a room temp., subjected to the press working and, successively, subjected to a low temp. heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A dislocation type vibration isolating steel plate is worked by cold rolling to impart 0.5-10% of the work strain. Subsequently, the ageing treatment is carried out within a temp. range of 50-400 deg.C. The C and N within a steel plate is collected to the dislocation increased by a plastic work to fix the dislocation and an attenuating capacity is once lowered. This steel plate is subjected to a press work to obtain a preselected shape to increase the dislocation again within a steel plate as well as to largely enhance the attenuating capacity corresponding to the work ratio. Subsequently, the said steel plate is subjected to the painting and baking treatment at 170 deg.C for an hr. and is obtained a vibration isolating steel plate with the attenuating capacity more excellent than the inherent attenuating capacity of a steel plate.
