    • PURPOSE:To comparatively simply execute the restoration to the standard operation accompanied with change of condition, by supplying compensating heat to molten iron temp. by preheated gas blown from a shaft part based on the difference between the standard temp. and measured temp. of molten iron at the time of tapping off. CONSTITUTION:The standard temp. of molten iron at the time of tapping off is set and the difference between the standard temp. and the measured value of molten iron temp. at the time of tapping off is found. Next, based on this difference, the compensating heat of molten iron temp. is supplied by preheated gas blown in the furnace from the shift part. For example, in case of compensating the molten iron temp. by 10 deg.C, the total heat content of molten iron and generated slag (calculates from each specific heat and slag generating quantity per one ton of molten iron) 295kcal/T deg.C is converted into molten iron temp. 10 deg.C, and further, in the preheated gas at 1,000 deg.C, from heat content having effective heat balance at >=800 deg.C at lower part of the furnace and the specific heat of preheated gas, blowing quantity 45Nm /T corresponding to this heat content is obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To increase using quantity of fine powdered coal at low cost by blasting heated oxygen and the fine powdered coal from tuyeres of a blast furnace and blowing preheated gas from a shaft part. CONSTITUTION:Material is charged into the blast furnace 1 from the furnace top, and the furnace gas is sent to a gas holder 3 through a furnace top gas cleaning mechanism 2 and branched on the way, and high temp. gas is developed by a preheating gas generator 5 through a booster 4. This gas is blown in the furnace from gas blowing holes 6 arranged in the shaft part. Further, a part of the gas is blasted in the furnace from the tuyeres 9 through a booster 4' as temp. adjusting gas in front of tuyeres. On the other hand, the oxygen is sent to the preheating gas generator 5 and the tuyeres 9 from an oxygen source 7, but ordinarily, it is blasted into the furnace from tuyeres 9 together with the fine powdered cool from a fine powdered coal vessel 8 as a part of substitute for coke. It is desirable that the temp. adjusting gas in front of tuyere is blown as little as possible and the consumption of fine powdered coal is increased.
