    • PURPOSE: To facilitate the release of a lock and improve mounting efficiency by having a built-in lock release mechanism in a connector. CONSTITUTION: A receptacle side connector 1 is equipped with a lock engaging window 7, and a plug side connector is equipped with a plug side connecter housing 2a on which a lock release slant face 8 is provided, an elastic body- made slide member 3 on which a lock engaging dowel 6 and tip slant face 3c are provided, and an extracting tab 4. In a locked state, when the protrusive portion of the slide member 3 is pushed leftward, the tip slant face 3c thereof is guided left downward along the lock release slant face 8 so that the lock engaging dowel 6 escapes from the lock engaging window 7 to fall into the plug side connector housing 2a. As the result, lock is released, and the lug 4a of the extracting tab 4 is pushed by the abutting portion 3b of the slide member 3 so that the extracting tab 4 turns counterclockwise by 90 deg. centering a fulcrum 4b. When the extracting tab 4 is pulled leftward, the plug side connector can easily be uncoupled from the receptacle side connector 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effects due to noise, which is generated from a low- speed signal and power source system, to a high-speed transmission system by separating a connector for high-speed transmission and a connector for supplying low-speed signal and power source from each other. SOLUTION: A MCM 5 is placed on a low-speed signal and power source supplying connector 10, which is surrounded by a lock frame 17 on a back panel 16, and a fitting member 21 and a lock lever 22 are fitted to a frame cover 19, and a connector 9 for high-speed transmission is fitted to a connector fitting part 21b of the fitting member 21. The frame cover 19 is placed on a top surface of a support 18, and the fitting member is lowered through the lock lever 22, a flange part 21f, and the connector 9 for high-speed transmission is fitted in the fitting member 21. A cam part 22b of the lock lever 22 is rotated, and entered in depth of a groove 18a of the support 18, and the connector 9 for high-speed transmission is fixed to the fitting member 21 on the MCM 5. The lock lever 22 is rotated further, and contacts 1, 2 of the connector 9 for high-speed transmission and a connecting part 5a of the MCM 5 are connected to each other.
