摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure, to allow fitting and removing by weak operating physical force, and to prevent damage caused by exposure of a locking spring member. SOLUTION: When a plug 1 is inserted into a receptacle 11 under a condition of (a) before engagement, a state is brought into a condition of (b), and respective outside protrusions 4C of plural plate spring pieces 4B of an inside contact 4 contact with an inner circumferential face of an outside contact 14. Since an inner circumferential face 6C of a coupling member 6 pushes the second outside protrusions 5E of plural plate spring pieces 5B of an outside contact 5 when the member 6 is slided to a right direction, respective inside protrusions 5C are fitted to a circular groove 14A of the contact 14. Since the face 6C approaches to the respective first outside protrusions 5D to face each other so as to bring a condition of (c), the respective protrusions 5C are prevented from being escaped out of the circular groove 14A, that is, locked.

SOLUTION: A plug 1 is composed of a central contact 7, a cylindrical external contact 8, an insulator 3 to 5 for holding the central contact and the external contact, a shell 2 storing the central contact and the insulator and communicating with the external contact, and an external crust insulator 10. The fitting construction of the jack is configured to be identical to the fitting construction of the plug. The adapter for connecting the plug and the jack has a pair of identical of identical fitting constructions. The plug is mounted on a first housing, a jack is mounted on a second housing, and an adapter is mounted on either of the housings. The plug is connected to the jack through the adapter by joining both of the housings.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a simplified ZIF(zero-insertion-force) mechanism. SOLUTION: A connection shaft 16 is connected to an insulator 12 in each connector unit 10, and a cam groove 17 is formed in an insulator cover 14. The connection shaft 16 has a connection pin 16a installed to be movable along a groove part 12a. The connection shaft 16 has a groove part 16b extended in a specified direction, an operation lever 18 has a pin (protrusion) 18a inserted into this groove part 16b, and the operation lever is rotatably supported about a support point 19a at a different position from a protrusion 18a formed position. By rotating the operation lever 18 to move the connection shaft 16, the connection pin 16a moves along the groove part 16b and the cam groove 17 as the connection shaft 16 moves, so the insulator cover 14 is moved by the cam groove 17 to engage/remove the connector unit 10.

SOLUTION: A MCM 5 is placed on a low-speed signal and power source supplying connector 10, which is surrounded by a lock frame 17 on a back panel 16, and a fitting member 21 and a lock lever 22 are fitted to a frame cover 19, and a connector 9 for high-speed transmission is fitted to a connector fitting part 21b of the fitting member 21. The frame cover 19 is placed on a top surface of a support 18, and the fitting member is lowered through the lock lever 22, a flange part 21f, and the connector 9 for high-speed transmission is fitted in the fitting member 21. A cam part 22b of the lock lever 22 is rotated, and entered in depth of a groove 18a of the support 18, and the connector 9 for high-speed transmission is fixed to the fitting member 21 on the MCM 5. The lock lever 22 is rotated further, and contacts 1, 2 of the connector 9 for high-speed transmission and a connecting part 5a of the MCM 5 are connected to each other.
