摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the balance when a segment is assembled by providing the first advancing jack applying reaction force to the segment and the second advancing jack applying reaction force to a casing concurrently serving as a soil discharging pipe, and synchronously operating them. SOLUTION: This upward shield machine S excavating a vertical hole from the underground to the ground surface is provided with the first advancing jack 35 applying reaction force to a segment 18 and the second advancing jack 21 applying reaction force to a bracket 19 installed on a reaction force receiving casing 10, and they are synchronously operated. As the vertical hole is advanced, the segment 18 is fitted to a wall face by an erector 23. The first jack 35 must be shrunk at this time, the shield machine S is supported by the second jack 21 not to be dropped by the tare weight, and the balance of the machine body is prevented from collapsing. The load applied to the segment 18 is reduced. The excavated sediment is discharged from a soil discharging pipe 11 (concurrently serving as a reaction force receiving casing 10). The advance efficiency can be improved.
