    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an announcing sound control device and a method of a domestic electric appliance to announce announcing sounds to easily know an operating condition of an operation setting switch and an operational condition in operation by storing the announcing sounds at switch operating time by two or more kinds to a single switch. SOLUTION: When an operation switch on a switch circuit 23 arranged in an announcing sound control device 16 is pushed down, an operation course and a process of a domestic electric appliance are selected, and at the same time, an announcing sound is set in and inputted to an indication control element (IC) 20, and a controlled announcing sound is pronounced from a piezoelectric buzzer 22 through a buzzer circuit 21. Plural announcing sounds are stored in the IC 20 to the same operation switch, and when the announcing sounds are made selectable by a changeover switch, an announcing sound desired by a user can be set. Therefore, an announcing sound control device and a method of a dimestic electric appliance to announce announcing sounds to easily know an operating condition of an operation setting switch and an operational condition in operation as well as to be easily distinguishable from an announcing sound of another electric appliance can be provided.

    • PURPOSE: To circulate efficiently water fed from bathtub and washing water by means of a single water feed pump (self-suction type pump), by selectively connecting a first water flow passage and a second water flow passage to the water feed pump by means of a switch valve. CONSTITUTION: To wash using bathtub water, an external hose 22 is put into a bathtub, a washing machine operation part 18 is operated to make a self- suction type pump 14 and the external hose 22 communicate by means of a suction switch valve 13, and the self-suction type pump 14 and a water flow passage 19 in the upper part of a wash tub are made communicate by means of a discharge switch valve 15. Thereafter, the bathtub water is fed by the operation of the self-suction type pump 14, and a motor 2 is then started to carry out washing by the drive of a rotary fin 4. During this washing operation, and the self-suction pump 14 and a circulation water flow passage 12 are made to comunicate by means of the suction switch valve 13, the self-suction pump 14 and the water flow passage 19 in the upper part of the wash tub are made communicate by means of the discharge switch valve 15, and washing water is circulated by the drive of the self-suction pump 14.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a deviation of cloth so that washing clothes can be dehydrated after they are made a uniform state by stirring them for several seconds to several minutes in accordance with the quality of cloth by a water flow shorter than a stirring water flow at the time of washing or rinsing, before transferring to a draining/dehydrating process. CONSTITUTION:This washing machine discharges tip water to the outside of the machine by a drain valve after the lapse of a prescribed time of a washing operation. Thereafter, rinsing is executed after dehydration. Such a series of washing works are executed by a microcomputer. In this regard, the quality of cloth is detected by rotating a stirring vane 7 positioned in a center part of a washing tank 3 forward and backward and finding a resistance variation applied to the stirring vane 7 from a counter electromotive force of a capacitor. Also, after a prescribed quantity of water is absorbed, the stirring vane 7 is turned by the same method as a first cloth quantity sensing, and the quality of cloth can be decided from resistance applied to the stirring vane 7. In such a way, in accordance with the quality of cloth of washing clothes, a stirring time limit before drainage and a stirring time limit in conformity with the quality of cloth are decided.
