CONSTITUTION:A ring to be processed (a) is fitted in a taper bar 32 of a retaining mechanism 2, and a work holding screw 35 is driven to hold and fix the ring. Precious stones (b) are fitted in a plurality of holes in a base simultaneously, and the retaining mechanism 2 is moved horizontally so that the tips 40 of a pair of arms 44 of caulking mechanism 4 are facing in the position easy to work the specified hole (c), and the caulking mechanism 4 is approached the ring (a) by a rotating mechanism and a longitudinal motion mechanism. Then an actuator screw 54 is operated to sink a slider 49, and the slide surface 47 at its tip is intruded between rollers 43 of the two arms 44, and the edge of the ring (a) is caulked with the tip 40. Thus caulking operation can be done easily without requiring skillfulness.

    • PURPOSE:To arrange a pressure connection terminal easily and evenly without grasping power and physical strength by detachably providing the end of a portable case with a pressure connection member which is closed or opened by means of a ball nut to be moved forward or backward by the drive of a DC motor rotated normally or reversely by a changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:A connection circuit to a DC motor 2 arranged in a portable case 1 is made a polarity side to rotate a ball nut 4b toward its forward motion side by operating a changeover switch 7. And a main switch 6 is turned on so that the DC motor 2 and a battery 5 are connected together, and the DC motor 2 is driven and rotated so that the ball nut 4b is moved forward. This results in the closing of a pressure connection member 14 so as to evenly press and arrange a pressure connection terminal without grasping power and physical strength. Then the main switch 6 is turned off to change over the changeover switch 7, and the main switch 6 is turned on again to reversely rotate the DC motor 2, so that the ball nut 4b is moved backward to open the pressure connection member 14 and return it to its original state.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate an operation for gripping terminals during a crimping operation. CONSTITUTION:A pair of crimpers 3, 3 is rotatably journalled near the end of a case 1 and a link mechanism for opening and closing the outer ends 3a, 3a of the crimpers is provided at the inner ends of the crimpers 3, 3. A pressure member 10 that is threaded into a spiral rod 9 joined to a reversely rotatable motor 7 and can move back and forth with respect to the link mechanism is provided within the case 1. A pressure spring 11 for pressing and closing the crimper outer ends 3a, 3a and a manual lever 12 that works to open the crimper outer ends 3a, 3a are provided. The crimper outer ends 3a, 3a being closed by the pressure spring 11 are opened by the action of the manual lever 12 to put in terminals, and the manual lever 12 is released and the terminals are gripped by the crimper outer ends 3a, 3a. Then the control portion 14 of a control switch mechanism is turned on to drive the reversely rotatable motor 7 in the normal direction to crimp the terminals. Since the terminals are gripped using the manual lever 12 and the pressure spring 11, gripping forces can be fine-tuned, facilitating the crimping operation.
